The most relevant question for diabetics is probably how these affect their blood sugar levels. I’m type two diabetic and 120 is about my average blood glucose level. This is not great but is a major struggle for me to get it any lower. If running that level with everything regulated in check, then on a random night I ate regular chocolate peanut butter of similar size to one of these eggs I’d expect to wake up and get a 155 or so reading and also have dry mouth and feel dehydrated. So for comparison purposes…I had ordered 3 packages at the same time so nine total eggs. It took me a TON of discipline to do this, but I managed to eat just one per night. With my diet mostly in check and blood sugar regulated, I noticed no problems from this. My readings in the morning were only a few points higher than had I not ate anything at all, and I wasn’t dehydrated.The reason I said a ton of discipline is because the product was delicious. It is far better than the big name brand products on the market. The most known of those is Reese's Sugar Free Peanut butter cups, while Russel Stovers is a known alternative. Now if a fan of Reese's one then might be disappointed. These taste much more like the Russel Stover’s version of peanut butter cups which I prefer.The difference is Hershey’s Reese's is known for being dry. In sugar version that dryness works and creates a unique flavor. These here you can taste the peanut butter slightly more and they are creamier. So taste is more Russel Stovers version like. But it is FAR better. The Russel Stover ones are flimsy without much chocolate. This here is an egg with a thick chocolate coating packed peanut butter. I can’t imagine too many people eating them side by side would say Russel Stover version taste better.I also have nothing but positive to say about this seller. I ordered from Diabetic Friendly many times. The packaging often contains a note saying they take customer service seriously and greetings like that. All my orders have come on time.Pro Tip: The shipping cost is often high with this seller, but goes way down when ordering more than one, or when ordering multiple items together that are from the same seller.
