Great fit and finish
I buy a lot of knives, some inexpensive and some moderately expensive. These are the nicest I've bought at this price point. In fact you would expect the knife to be much more expensive.. The blade is beautiful, it feels so good in your hand. The handle is solid, it feel right and the fit is great. Recommend.

Shockingly good
This looked cool in the listing, but is so much better in person! It looks awesome - the blade is beautiful and a really cool shape, the handle is also beautiful, and it is larger than I thought it would be. The quality is amazing - I would expect something this solid and heavy to be more expensive. The sheath is really cool, and would be worth buying all by itself. I am seriously impressed by this thing.

Nice
The media could not be loaded. This is a good looking knife. My son loved it as a gift. The blade is sharp. It cut right through a cardboard box. It has a nice grip. It's a big knife, but not too heavy. The blade is not perfectly straight, but overall a good purchase.

Much Better Than Expected
For the price I paid I was not expecting the quality I received. The Damascus steel is beautiful and part of the handle and guard as well as the blade. The handle fits nicely in my hand and the large blade is nicely balanced by it. The accompanying leather sheath is functional but a little awkward. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.Happy Holidays!

Not A Badly Crafted Knife, But A Very badly Crafted Leather Sheath!
I bought this knife because I wanted a truly functional, full tang, coffin handled "Bowie" knife to wear on hikes, plus, it's a Matt Easton design. (Matt Easton is based in the U.K. and is a Historical Arms, Armour & Combat Expert). This one, with its D2 tool steel blade, seemed to be the nicest of everything I've looked at here on Amazon in its price range. I know that throughout the years, there have been quality issues, and they've changed the design of both the knife and sheath several times, so I was a bit hesitant. It feels very comfortable in my hands, and it's very well balanced. The plunge grinds at the ricasso are asymmetrical but not noticeable unless you're looking for imperfections. It came sharp, but not nearly as sharp as it could have been. In the video, it is mentioned that the blade has a "false edge." Mine did not come with a false edge. It came with a swedge. (An unsharpened suggestion of an edge on the spine of a blade is called a swedge. A sharpened edge on the spine of a blade that does not run the full length of the blade is called a false edge). To clarify, a false edge is sharpened. The handle scales are decently finished, but not without minor asymmetrical chamfer flaws. They are pinned tightly to the full tang, however, the pins are not symmetrical, nor are they brass as shown or stated in the video. Rather, the pins are aluminum. The handle is not quite shaped like the one shown in the photos and described in the video. The exposed tang sides of the handle of mine do not have the concave surfaces as shown. Rather, mine has straighter surfaces. The hand guard came as advertised and rock solid with a nicely polished finish. The leather sheath was very disappointing with its thin, narrow, riveted on belt loop, foam-like welt and an overall dry leather build. This cost saving, poor construction seems to be the norm of late, especially with low-end imported knives. I contacted Poshland through their website and asked if they could make me a proper sheath. I even stated that I'd be willing to pay for their services. They did make a sheath to my specs and sent me photos of it, but the stitching was horribly done on both sides. When I pointed out these issues and declined, I was then offered a different sheath they had laying around, and it wasn't any better than the one that originally came with the knife. I was then told it would be redone. Finally, after nearly a month of waiting, they sent me two photos, front and back, of the completed sheath looking like it's made the way a leather sheath should be made in the first place with a one piece, wide belt loop, but I couldn't see the welt to tell if it was leather, and the belt loop looked like very thin leather, so in an email reply, I asked for a photo of the side to visually confirm a leather welt and leather thickness. I haven't heard back from them in several days, so I've abandoned my efforts, completed my review and purchased a black, quality constructed, top grain leather sheath elsewhere (Photo attached).Although the knife is well made and functional, I gave 3 stars because of the discrepancies in the knife I received vs. the one advertised in the video and the very poorly made leather sheath that accompanies the knife. I also factored in that they tried to sell me one that had horrible stitching, then one that was no different from the one that came with the knife. Also, in my opinion, it should not take 30+ days for a knife manufacturer to build a simple leather sheath. Had the knife actually came as advertised and with a properly built leather sheath, I would have gladly given a 5 star review. In my opinion based on decades of experience with knives and leather sheaths, this is a mediocre piece, at best that I would not and could not recommend unless one either makes or obtains a proper leather sheath and doesn't mind lesser craftsmanship than advertised. I'm certain that I'll never buy another Poshland knife again.

Quality
I just received this knife as a Christmas gift. I was impressed with the quality of the knife. It was well made, sharp out of the box. I make knives as a hobby and I like a clean smooth fit between materials. And this knife was so smooth and clean. I love it ! It feels good in the hand, has a good balance. Again I am VERY IMPRESSED.
