You need a 2 7/8” hole saw
I mounted it in a box trailer to run a RV ac and a couple of plugs . It worked good.

Didn't Work
After installing and wiring into my cargo trailer I plugged it in using new cable. Had no power to wall outlet I installed for refrigerator. After some troubleshooting found that the cable plug end wasn't making good contact with receptacle pins. The pins don't seem to be long enough. I removed the pin block from the housing and plugged it in and it worked. Could feel the difference in the fit. Put it back together and it doesn't work when assembled normally. This confirmed that the pins were not going in far enough to make good contact. Will be ordering different receptacle. Twist and lock type.
