This is genuinely the best, most hydrating lip balm I’ve come across, and I’ve used plenty from various brands, as well as others from Burt’s. I initially purchased a bulk pack of the original Burt’s Bees lip balm, which came with two ultra-conditioning balms as a bonus. I decided to give one a try and haven’t used another lip balm since. The first thing I really love is the texture, it’s not waxy like the original. The formula is so smooth and it smells like lemon which I love. The ingredients were what impressed me the most, this stuff is loaded with wonderful butters and oils that give my lips everything they need to look and feel hydrated. The brand says “It’s intense hydration, for when you want to deep condition your lips without the waxy feel” and I think that hits the nail on the head of exactly what this lip balm is. I’ll never be without it and it’s going in everyone’s stocking every year lol. I’d also like to add that I recently repaired my lips from years of damage (shown in the review photo) caused mainly by licking my lips. While I use other products in my lip care routine to serve other purposes like exfoliation and protection, this lip balm is what I use daily for hydration and is the only product on my lips in my “after” photo. This balm has helped me to stop a bad habit that was causing damage and insecurity for years. Now my lips are healthy and moisturized. Thank you Burt’s Bees!!

This is the best lip balm. It’s much better than the “waxy” type. It goes on very smooth and keeps dry lips soft.

Best chapstick ever. Don’t like their other flavors. They are too waxy. This is nice and creamy and makes your lips feel awesome. Hard to find in the store. They are always out.

Cures dry lips

I have a petroleum allergy, and almost all chopsticks have petroleum in them. This did not! And did not make my lips even more cracked, like the petroleum based products do like chapstick. It's thick enough to last for a while, but glides on. Has been keeping my lips smooth this winter up in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon.

Oh thank goodness!!! I tried so many lip balms, medicated lip ointments, etc. At last my chapped lips are smooth and moisturized! Thank you, Burt’s Bees!

The silver cat birds bees are the best ones. They don’t leave a waxy texture. It’s more of like a creamy texture and they protect your lips, making them soft, especially in the winter months when everything is dry and you’re usually parched.
