The item met with my expectations.

This product is not approved to BSEN ISO 9999:2016Although there is facility for 3 screws at each end to attach the mounting flanges to the wall the handle is only attached by one M6 pan-headed hexagon socket screw. These were loose when delivered and could fail to retain the handle over time. I tightened the screw using an Allen key which was not supplied and is not in everybody's tool kit. Once tightened it it is still prone to loosening as the amount of thread engagement is less than three threads so I applied thread lock in the form of Loctite 242,This is product design failure and the flange should be a welded assembly to the tube for complete security or a thicker section inside the handle to create greater thread engagement to produce a safe product which is intended to provide disabled persons with a secure hand hold. For this reason the product should in my opinion be removed from the market.

The item is sturdy and provides good support when in use. Good build quality overall.

This was the second set of grab handles I purchased - previous set of suction ones failed on the wallboard - so had to get these and then drill through board - not ideal as I then had to ensure that the handles were watertight. This involved putting sealant around the base of these handles. More effort but at least they work.

Unit is sturdy enough but the collars which hide the screws are a poor fit

This is really good. Very sturdy and does the job well. The foam padded makes it better than others as easy to grip.

We used this for shower cubicle and it was perfect.
