What is the shelf life for this product? I have a smaller lawn so might use this for 2-3 years. Will it stay good?

Doc's says it will last, unused, for years. I also have a small lawn, only 3200 sqft. I break it down into two applications about 6 to 8 weeks apart. Don't forget the recommended application of chicken feed.
