I've used this a few times in the past couple of weeks. I love it. It came well packaged and the added dishes are lovely.I am going to purchase another as a gift!

I’m enjoying using this but it will only fit over my wok and not any of my pans because the pan handle is too high and it sits lob sided. It has slightly come apart because of the steam but it’s still functional

Used once, cleaned, dried and treated according to supplied instructions. Stored (briefly) in dry, mould free cupboard & grew green mould within a month. Avoid.

We have been using a silicone and a steel collapsible steamers but these do the trick with either a wok or inside a braiser.

I like this bamboo steamer for it's good construction as well as the parchment papers, pair of sauce dishes and chopsticks. The instructions are very clear for proper prepping or "seasoning" of the bamboo, which I would highly recommend one follow with any new bamboo steamer not only to thoroughly clean it, but also to ensure one's first few dishes don't taste strongly of bamboo.The basket's weave is tight and a beautiful construct, which helps to ensure that excessive steam doesn't escape through the top when steaming. We ended up putting a few extra holes in the parchment paper while steaming dumplings, simply because the steaming process seemed to be taking longer than the 15-20 minutes expected.The dipping sauce dishes are quite attractive and paired with the included chopsticks, are a nice addition to attempting to make (and enjoy) one's own dumplings (or whatever one chooses) more authentic-feeling. The only additional thing we needed was a black teabag (which we had already) to help with the initial seasoning of the steamer. Other than that, everything one needs to get started is included with this nice steamer set. Thanks for reading.
