Great Value for Beginners โ Comfortable and Protective
As a Muay Thai newbie, Iโve been using these shin guards for two weeks, and theyโve been perfect for my training. - Excellent Fit: I'm 5'6" tall and Size M fits me perfectly, the velcro straps are secure and quick to use. - Thick Padding: Protects my shins and instep well during sparring - Durable Build: For $40, the quality feels solid. Time will tell, but they seem reliable for casual training. - Sleek Design: The black color option is minimalist and professional-looking, no flashy logos, just clean aesthetics. Not sure how theyโll hold up after months of heavy use, but for beginners/intermediates, theyโre a fantastic budget pick. Breathability is decent, but they do get a bit warm during long sessions (typical for most guards I think), the inner fabric is very absorbant, so it doesn't feel slippery when you sweat (clean them often). If youโre starting out in Muay Thai or kickboxing and want affordable, reliable protection, these are a smart choice. Highly recommend!

Quality Is Good For Starting Out!!
I made a video review so you should check it out. But with wording description, Iโd say itโs pretty comfortable. Itโs not heavy. Velcro is pretty good, You can adjust it well, as you seen the video I have pretty big calves, but if you have smaller calves, you can adjust it fine. I am a size small I weigh 160 pounds and I am 5โ1 and it fits perfect. My husband got a large he is 6โ2 weighing about 200 pounds. It has good shin protection, basic cushion all around close to the calves as well which provides a wide range protection and it feels durable. Regarding movements it functions pretty well. Iโll give a review once Iโve used it for a few sparring sessions.

No issues.
Good starter set. I wore these a few times a week for MMA for 6 months, no failures. Straps all still attached, foam intact.

Thick, affordable but tight
Nice & thick. I bought this for post leg surgery, providing protection against my little dogs who jump on me, when excited. I will say that the bottom straps are too tight for my feet (not good for high arch or wide feet). If you leave the strap off, it'll slide around. This didn't cover the sides completely, though that's more of a sizing/design issue. It's a tough, affordable product.

Solid!!
This works well!!! Iโve have these over a year now and theyโre still keeping up. Granted, I donโt use them super often, but it definitely feels like itโs great quality and it will hang in there for a while.

Affordable for starting out, not good for sparring
These are affordable for starting out if youโre just trying out kicking boxing to see if you like it. As soon as I started sparring against others at full force, these did nothing to protect my legs lol the padding is only on the shin and blocking kicks with these on was as good as having soccer shin pads on. Iโve had these for a month and after taking 3 or 4 bad kicks, Iโm already looking for an upgrade. Just keep that in mind if you plan to use these long term and/or for sparring.

Cheap but outstanding quality
Almost as good as Venum elite for a fraction of the price. I feel my shins are protected while still giving me mobility.

They are very good for the price
The shin guards work well. The padding is enough for most drills and light sparring, which is what I would expect for the prize. Other reviews say that the foot part comes crumbled, which is true, but it's not that bad and gets fixed with a few uses. The same can be said regarding the stiffness. They get softer with use. I am a 5'5'' woman, and I bought the medium. In the beginning, the strap was a little uncomfortable because it is pretty high by design. So I would recommend buying the small ones if you're that height or below. Update: Two years later and they still hold, including velcro and padding. So I'm switching to 5 stars because they are very good for the price and will keep you safe if you practice Muay Thai/Kickboxing.
