Great for Open ended play. Great for pre-k kids, provided items for color sorting, tweezers to pick them up for fine motor skills and provides the extra cards you can use when your kids are more advanced for patterning or starting math. Our son is 3 and loves them. I wanted to get him some learning activities prior to start preschool, and has used these a lot. Great gift idea too for a good price.

This was something similar to a toy they used in occupational therapy to help with fine motor skills, so I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't even tracking it came with cards, which help with counting and math, and it's for various ages. Some are just counting and others are math questions. I will say we'll use different tongs, they were a little difficult for a 3 year old. The purple ones were hard for even me to pick up because they didn't have feet or something easy to grip.

My son loves using this to practice math, and I love that it tells you what kind of dinosaurs they are. There are 12 of each dinosaur and lots of cards to help them learn. Love it! Only downside is that the colors and shapes don’t match on the boards

Purchased this ages ago for my son before he was totally ready to use it with all the cards. We have pulled it out at different points over time to play with in various ways. Most recently I grabbed some of the dinosaurs to use as counters with a math curriculum I got to try. It would be better if it came in something more like a Tupperware type container rather than needing to puzzle fit it all back in the box but such is the case with most toys. Id say it was worth the purchase. We no longer have the tweezers as they broke but its been a couple of years at least so I wouldnt count that against it. Fun bright color cute dinosaurs and the size is great to not take up too much storage space.
