Awesome addition to my custom controller set up. I don’t really notice the convenience in most of the buttons, but to have my l2 & r2 buttons respond like mouse clicks has made a big improvement on my game play especially with pistols, semi auto rifles and any automatic guns with a lot of recoil. If you don’t like/can’t get used to flipping your buttons so l1 & r1 are “ads” and “fire” then this definitely is an inexpensive alternative. Cheap, easy to install (as long as you have basic experience with dismantling controllers & if not there is step by step tutorials on you tube) My only concern is how long the micro buttons will last but there was an extra set of rubber grommets (these fit inside the button moulds to make soft contact with the micro buttons) so I’m assuming the manufacture has tested button repetition. As long as it last through at least two controllers (3 to 4 years) then this is definitely a bargain edition to add to your controller.

This tactile clicky kit has made my controller much nicer to use. The tactility really lets me feel when I have pressed a button, both physically and audibly. The clicky shoulders also makes reactions much quicker too with the shorter travel distance. I mainly play fighting games and wanted to try this mod on my controller and it works well for me. No more mushy buttons. The installation was simple enough, you can refer to videos online for detailed instructions. All the tools needed are included.

this saved my broken scuf controller. my controller broke as 2 buttons stopped working, so I tried this and it was easy to install it works so much better than the original buttons if you play FPS games as there is basically no travel time compared to your traditional analog sticks. though they’re probably not best suited to racing games and other similar games.

Generally, it's a great design and works well when the rubber inserts for the buttons aren't collapsing into the holes they slot into. Unfortunately, these inserts only have a single strip of rubber to hold them in the cylidrical button holes, so they start going off center and sinking deeper into the button, making for sunken, wonky, and sticky buttons. A cross of rubber would work better, but I'm going to have to take it apart again after resitting them twice and look for something else that'll stay in place for good. To be honest, considering the quality of the rest of the kit, it's a bit of a surprising and easily avoided flaw.

Bad tolerances. Dpad up arrow is always pressed. Trigger kit only fits on right trigger. Also triggers become buttons losing sliding value.

Pros Accurate inputs, big upgrade for DPAD, good for fighting games good price, easy to install, durable Cons: I would happily pay 10-20 more for higher quality mechanical switches with less force required to actuate and a switch that snaps back up to neutral faster Overall very good would reccomend to anyone looking for a new controller as this is a cheaper and probably better alternative

Wow! Actually incredible impressed been a long time Scuf user but since trying the Envision and dealing with their woeful after sales support I wouldn’t touch another. Purchased this on a whim alongside the Black Dawn Remap Kit, really easy to fit, might be considered fiddly if you were not tech minded, some slight modification needed so that triggers click properly but really impressed will definitely be buying more kits and mods! 5*

I only wanted clicky face buttons and wanted to keep the triggers as analog inputs. There's no clicky face button kit but it's easy to modify this one. I snipped off the shoulder and trigger buttons, see the pictures. The traces are isolated so it won't affect the rest of the buttons. I installed it on top of the original conductive film and it works perfectly!

update: extremerate provided a solution i was satisfied with. I give the kit 4 stars because in the end I did end up taking it out because i prefer the membrane feeling over the kit my kit did not include the 8 circular shaped rubber buttons that go in the bottom of the face buttons, pictured on the parts overview on the bottom right It instead came with 4 totally different looking rubber pieces that do not fit. Because of these missing key pieces my face buttons are dull (i also tried using the rectangular shaped ones but they keep moving and getting pushed all the way in) so i cant finish the installation contacted extremerate and waiting for a solution or return

Simple à installer, super video youtube! Franchement, ça fonctionne super bien. Faut avoir une autre manette à côté pour avoir la proportionnelle aux gachettes, mais pour du fps, c'est... MORTEL 🥰
