All my accessories in kitchen are in turquoise. I saw this cute butter dish and absolutely love it. It's the perfect shade of turquoise and so very well made. It's almost too nice to use. It's ceramic which does clean up well. Highly recommend this product. It makes butter, better!

It was a little smaller than I imagined, but a stick of butter fits nicely. It is well-made and solid. It cleans nicely. A little butter knife came with it, which was a nice surprise. The simple design will go with any dishware, yet it has a nice, slightly round design.

The butter dish and cover a nice simple white ceramic. I bought it to try leaving butter out of the fridge so it spreads on things like toast easier. Butter is fine at room temperature for quite a while, the cover keeps airborne germs off, and room temperature butter is supposed to taste better (not totally convinced about that). So I would give the butter dish and cover 5 stars; good value for the simple job they do. They look nice on the counter, hide and protect the butter, and are easy to clean.I’m dropping one star cuz of the spreader. It is kind of cheaply made, with the steel knife part bending easily where it meets the handle, especially when pushing down to spread things. The most cumbersome part is storage. I kind of assumed the dish/cover was sized to hold the spreader inside with the butter. After all, who wants to leave the spreader covered in butter and crumbs on the counter for all to see, and for airborne germs to land on? Trying to fit it inside causes it to smush the butter, or if you try to move the butter over to make room, the butter hits the cover. Seems like the design is off. So close, but not quite.
