Its amazing how much better these work than my fill and drain beds alone. I bought them for an isolated system that feeds my in-ground corn and doesn't have a fill and drain bed system attached. I put in the same ingredients but the system with these things obviously works way better.I plan to add a small bio reactor tank with these in it to all my systems.They are relatively expensive though.

So far the filter media has worked very well. once they have been in the system for a while they have become almost neutrally buoyant which makes cycling them around easy with a small amount of air. he only reason that i gave them 4 stars is the cost. when you need a large amount the cost can become prohibitive. If money is an issue with setting a large system other alternatives may be a better route.

The filter media appears to be working beautifully. I am using the media in a pond in a greenhouse with Koi and the water is very clear.

Fast shipping. These work great for water polishing. I only received 1/2 gallon though...
