No Suction Cup Bathmat for Refinished Bathtub, Safe for All Ages, Made in Italy, 41"x15", Machine Washable

Hubs and I are seniors and recently had a bathroom renovation to install a new shower. The floor has a slight pebble texture which is supposedly non-slip. However, soap, shampoo and conditioner all make the surface slick. No traditional suction bathmat worked and we tried many. Not one would stick to the surface of the shower. I researched many mats on Amazon and bought this. It is supposedly made in Italy and that's stamped onto the mat. It has a raised surface of textured cups which at first was a bit odd, but I've quickly become used to them. I've only used the mat in the shower, so no idea how it would work sitting in a tub. This is the best shower mat I've ever used and I recently bought a second - just to have an extra. The instructions say to wet the surface before placing the mat. Once in place it does not move. For the first time ever, I step in and out of the shower without any sensation of slipping. There are no typical suction cups on the bottom - instead there are raised areas corresponding to the raised 'cups' on the top. It is easy to clean with the hand-held shower hose, and dries quickly hanging on the shower door handle. No signs of mold after several months use. My only wish was that this style was two inches wider, but nevertheless, it's an excellent product.

Love this shower mat. I just got a tub to shower conversion done and cannnot use a mat with suction cups. This mat adheres great to the shower floor. It is really light weight and easy to pick up after showering.

This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered this tub mat. The first time was about 2 years ago. Because I was pleased with the first tub mat. I ordered another for a different tub. We feel secure in shower/tub with this mat and feeling on feet is comfortable. The length is good but I do wish it were about 3 inches wider for a wider stance in the shower. I would not recommend washing in a washing machine as a couple minor tears on the edges occured. I found that hanging it on the grab bar after a shower keeps it clean for a long period of time

This bathmat is the only bathmat I've found that stays on place on my textured tub floor while showering. The bathmat is made of high quality rubber and both thick and heavy. It does not slide or slip while showering and standing on it. Highly Recommended if you have a textured tub and suction cup mays won't stay in place, this mat does for me.

We had to get a non-suction cup bath mat after our tub got refinished. This one works great and we don't worry about slipping!

Quality and size of the mat are great. It stays in place because it still suctions a tiny bit-- but not damage level. It is NOT easy to clean. We never left it in the tub after use and it still developed mold often. Dirt and grime do not easily scrub off because of the texture, and the washing machine didn't do much. That alone was the reason we stopped using it. It was a pain to keep clean.

Was worried, really love this product

This is our second type of this bath mat. We had our tub reglazed and this was recommended b/c it won't peel the glaze off the tub and it doesn't.However, the downside is that it too easily collects mold and is very difficult to keep clean due to the mold collecting in the rings of the inverted suction cups. We take this out of the tub to dry after every shower. It has dried in the sun. We have attempted to scrub it off w/o 100% success. There should be an anti-mold material incorporated into this product.Other than this, which I consider a significant issue b/c the last mat like this got so bad we had to throw it out, despite the fact that there was nothing else wrong with it, the mat serves its purpose. The mat is comfortable, doesn't slide when properly placed in the tub and is of sturdy construction. But who wants a moldy mat in the shower/tub?
