GORGEOUS
Super solid and absolutely gorgeous. Getting the light bulb installed and the urn seated properly was a small challenge, but we are SO pleased with this beauty!

Perfection
I love this lamp! It is about 3 feet tall, and is absolutely gorgeous. Pictures do not do this justice. The lamp is not made for primary or even secondary lighting, and is more like a lighted sculpture. Even though other reviews stated the jug was plastic, it is actually glass. The bronze color of the lamp is very pretty and will go with most color schemes. The detail is exquisite and definitely has that wow factor. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have had numerous compliments about this lamp.

Beautiful. I absolutely love her.
I absolutely love this piece. I have several pieces by Design Toscano and this is by far one of my favorites. This lamp is made for decoration, not for lighting. It is great for an ambient setting. The vase that she carries glows with a beautiful red-orange glow. The woman is beautifully sculpted and looks so graceful. She is tastefully nude on top with a flowing draped belted skirt around her hips. She is mounted on a base that is painted to look like black and white marble. She stands about 35" tall. Design Toscana did a great job on this one. I love it!

Disappointing, especially in the quality department ...
I’m not quite sure what I was expecting with this particular lamp, but do know for the price I was expecting some quality control. The urn was a very cheaply made one, that appeared to be a second. The hole that was drilled for the bulb assembly looked as if it was punched instead of drilled. First off, there was no bulb included in the packaging. I did try a smaller appliance type bulb, which did fit. Of course it wouldn’t work in the lamp because it’s too wide in diameter. The urn itself is not any sort of glass, but rather a cheap resin, something I’d expect in a Dollar store. The inexpensive vases are what come to mind. The Goddess of Light was actually quite beautifully made. She has a porcelain-like feel like a doll and is just as delicate. It really does have a faux bronze look, but obviously isn’t. The base is a resin and doesn’t even look close to being marble.Frankly, I was quite disappointed with this lamp. For the hefty asking price, the base really could have been made of marble. I certainly thought at least the urn would have been some sort of glass, but it was not to be. If you’re expecting anything that is elegant, simply don’t bother because it’s anything but. Disappointing, simply disappointing because what could have been a really nice lamp was anything but.
