Rip off sawdust
These burn up so quickly in the smoker and hardly make any smoke. The vermont casting wood chips at Canadian tire arent as fine like saw dust like these are and are way cheaper pound for pound.

the hardest part was keeping them from going up in flames
good smoke when not on fire. in my opinion the wood is a little to small. Even after an hour soak they tended to light up quickly. I was using them directly on the burners of a gas grill. They were wrapped in heavy tinfoil, with holes poked in top side, straight out of a bowl of water. They would work then burn and mess with the temp.

I use these chips in our Char-Broil The Big Easy TRU-Infrared Smoker Roaster & Grill and they are awesome! They light easily and burn very well. We love these with pork products, but I use for just about everything. When cooking pork loins I sometimes refill the smoke box with additional chips, but only once. I have ordered these several times and will continue to get them!
