Not sure why people say it’s hard to take the ice out. The ice came out very simple for me. Took less than 1 minute on each tray tbh. It does melt a bit after a few minutes but what would you expect with these little ice cubes? regardless it doesn’t bother me. I like this product especially for the price. Give it a try.

I only wish the mini cubes would pop out more easily but we do continue to use these. They freeze up quickly and you can make a huge variety of flavors. If you can pour it, you can make mini cubes.

Hoping to make my own special ice for my soft drink since I have no room in my freezer for bags of purchased ice, nor do I want to buy a countertop ice maker. These little ice trays are the right size—they are so shallow I can pop them on top of everything else in my freezer and it still closes! It was a bit tricky getting the ice out of them the first time so I put the tray in a food storage bag to contain the ice as I flexed the tray to pop out the cubes. Tiny size means ice freezes really fast!

Getting the cubes out of these trays is very difficult. I bought two trays. After I received them, I filled them with water and put them into the freezer. The next day I attempted to empty the trays into a bin. The trays are very flexible, but the cubes don't come out easily. It took about 10 minutes of twisting and turning the trays while poking the bottom of them to get the cubes out of the trays. I put the cubes into a quart size zip lock bag, and the total of the two trays was less than half of the quart size bag. I then threw the trays into the garbage.I usually read the reviews for a product and steer away from anything with a number of consistent negative reviews. I must not have done that for this product. My strong recommendation is to NOT buy these trays. If you decide to get them anyway, consider how many trays you will need. I would say that it would take about 10 - 15 of these trays to produce the same volume as two traditional sized trays.

It is my fault I didn't look at the actual size of these trays. But even I'd they were much bigger, it is really hard to get ice out of them. The width makes it hard to dump into a single glass, and the total amount from the tray isn't enough to bother with a bigger container. I bought two. They need to change the shape of the overall tray, not the size of the individual ice cubes, and they need to make it easier to get the ice out.
