Prestige Collectible Display Show Case for 1/18 1/24 Models by Autoworld Awdc001, Red

This has a really nice, quality plastic for both the case and the base. The base is easily drillable for feeding wires through and even has guides for the included wires, which wrap around the model's axels to keep it in place. The base is about half an inch high to accommodate this, something that other display cases do not. I ended up printing my own background and glued it onto one of the incuded ones - the included backdrops are fine, if not a little cheesy - but I can't imagine most people will mind.

While even the original boxes for some die cast cars are collectors items, for display purposes nothing beats these cases, while the original boxes sit safely in boxes of their own.The cases have excellent guideholes for consistently threading wires to secure the models, but it is also possible to carefully drill your own holes and use the mounting brackets that come with the cars themselves. The acrylic is crystal clear, and by avoiding harsh cleaners, remain crystal clear.I promise I would take at least the same care if I owned a full size 1930 Packard or 1934 Duesenberg in mint condition, and I think using these cases for the models demonstrates my sincerity on that point.

For what I paid for, you cant ask for more, I had bought another display from another brand with similar price point and the sides were blurry, this one does not. The only con I can find is that they scratch easily, some of the ones I bought had little scratches on them but this is on the manufacturer, so you get what you paid for, overall I think they serve their purpose and for the price I paid (around $12) you cant ask for more, I had bought a $30 display before and there were no differences.

I have many of these and will continue to buy them. Great tilt on the platform and the stacking ability is excellent. Worth the purchase.

My son has a Bandit Trans Am from the Gatlinburg car museum and wanted to protect it from the elements. The car is a hair larger than his Nascar die cast, so I had to find a display case that could accommodate it. I took a gamble on this one, and I'm delighted that I did. The case comes with a number of backdrops to give the display a bit of character. They include a couple of wires, but I'm not entirely sure why. The car looks great, and I intend to get a few more for my Batmobiles!!!

This is great for 1:18 model scale and comes with 4 different backgrounds to be displayed which makes it a more unique display. Came well packaged and seems very clear and professional display quality.

This is a well built and nicely designed display case. My Lego 1:15 replica of the McLaren Senna Car fits and looks great in this case. Love that tie downs are provided to secure car to case.
