The fit was perfect, the ties are long enough, and my clothes are fully protected when I'm cleaning or bathing my dog. This material will not rip or tear easily. I think it would take a lot to harm the material. My only criticism would be that there should be another button or two around the neck. I'm short with a short torso and one extra button would pull the apron up to a perfect height/placement for me. This is not a reason to take away any stars, though.
