Xylitol-based products provide simple, highly effective protection. We are committed to providing natural, health-enhancing products based on the safety, effectiveness, and science of xylitol. We offer drug-free sinus and dental/oral care as well as a line of natural xylitol sweeteners. After reading the extensive research done in Finland about the benefits of xylitol, Dr. Lon Jones developed a xylitol nasal spray. In 2000, Xlear Inc. was founded to make the nasal spray commercially available. We use natural ingredients like xylitol that pack a punch for healthy sinuses and upper respiratory tract to create xylitol nasal sprays that wash, not just rinse, your nose with natural ingredients. We work with your body to relieve your discomfort and sustain your healthy lifestyle. ## Features - 100% PURE XYLITOL: XyloSweet is a 100% pure xylitol sweetener derived from the fibrous parts of plants, similar in taste to regular organic sugar. We use no filler, flow agents or other additives. Granulated xylitol is a natural sugar that tastes just like sugar and a great choice when looking for sweetners and sugar alternatives. - DELICIOUS LOW CALORIE KETO SWEETENER: Xylitol may assist in achieving and maintaining a healthy body weight when used with health food. Xylitol sugar is 40% lower in calories than regular sugars, but contains the same sweetness. It can be a great choice for using in foods and snacks, keto friendly foods or used in blood sugar support supplements. - CONVENIENT SUGAR REPLACEMENT: XyloSweet can be be used as a substitute for baking sugar and most other common sweeteners and sugar alternatives without compromising taste or texture. XyloSweet is safe with a glycemic index of 7, as opposed to 65 for most table sugars. - GREAT TASTE: Unlike other sugar substitutes, xylitol has no after-taste and can be used in most recipes that call for sugar in equal portions without making any additional adjustments. - USAGE: When cooking, replace sugar with XyloSweet in equal measurements. Xylosweet is heat stable for cooking and baking. It mixes and dissolves like common sugar. XyloSweet is Non-GMO Project verified for purity and quality you can trust. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B000ORXYYS | | Best Sellers Rank | #7 in Xylitol Sugar Substitutes | | Item Model Number | 65521 | | Manufacturer | Xlear | | Product Dimensions | 5 x 5 x 5 inches; 1 pounds | | Units | 16 Ounce | | Upc | 700596001015 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Xlear - **Item Weight:** 16 ounces - **Package Weight:** 0.46 kg - **Product Benefits:** Convenient and tooth friendly sugar replacement - **Specialty:** GMO Free ## Images ![Xlear XyloSweet Plant Sourced Xylitol Sweetener 1 Pound Bag (Pack of 1) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81RVpS1XrfL.jpg) ![Xlear XyloSweet Plant Sourced Xylitol Sweetener 1 Pound Bag (Pack of 1) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81zM9eZmgQL.jpg) ![Xlear XyloSweet Plant Sourced Xylitol Sweetener 1 Pound Bag (Pack of 1) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jeG17ckXL.jpg) ![Xlear XyloSweet Plant Sourced Xylitol Sweetener 1 Pound Bag (Pack of 1) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jnuqSU+zL.jpg) ![Xlear XyloSweet Plant Sourced Xylitol Sweetener 1 Pound Bag (Pack of 1) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81KV0c850qL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What country does this xylitol come from?** A: This brand is made in China. There are other brands that are made in USA, which usually has a $10-$15 premium on the China made brands for a 5 lb bag. Here's a list of xylitol products made in the USA (with exception of one, made in Finland):Durelife xylitolmanufactured and packaged in the USA from 100% pure USA birchHealth Garden Xylitol100% birch xylitol made in USAMorning Pep Xylitol100% pure birch sweetener made in USAReal Birch xylitol100% USA-made from sustainably harvested birch treesSmart Sweetfrom organic hardwood, not corn - GMO free, USAUSA Birch Xylitol made from 100% North American birchXylobrit™"predominantly from Finnish Beech and Birch hardwood"Xyla™derived from 100% North American hardwoodZveet BirchXylitol made in USASource: http://www.healingteethnaturally.com/buying-best-non-gmo-xylitol-sugar.html **Q: What is the source for this, corn or birch? Where was this manufactured?** A: I am allergic to corn and was using this For my teeth. At first it was ok and my teeth were looking better but after a while my lips started to get dry and burn when I swished it. My tongue started getting sores and my face would itch . I don’t recommend xylitol from corn if you are allergic even if the manufacturer says it won’t cause an allergic reaction. **Q: What country is this produced in?** A: Raw materials definitely from China (I asked Xlear Customer Service); just the packaging is done in USA **Q: Is this a 5 pound bag or a 3.4 pound bag? The 5 pounds is how it is labeled to be sold?** A: This question of weight is coming up because under the Product Description: Amazon has the Shipping Weight as only 3.4 pounds. That is just incorrect and they need to fix that. Everything else says it's a 5 lb package.
