Harley Quinn: Reckoning (DC Icons Series) Hardcover – April 26, 2022

Another really cool read from DC Icons series. I think I liked Black Canary more.Really liked the first person pov and the writing was great. Really felt like you were Harley. Excited to get into this trilogy.

If you are a Harley Quinn fan this book is amazing and really takes you into her world and mind.

I absolutely enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to start the next one! Harley Quinn is a favorite of mine and this book did not disappoint!

Since appearing in the Batman animated series, Harley Quinn has been one of my favorite DC characters. Reckoning offers a compelling and refreshing twist on her origin story. It delves into the challenges women face in STEM fields while blending elements of revenge, romance, and vigilante justice.As Harley navigates her internship at Gotham University's psych lab, her aspirations for a scholarship clash with the harsh realities of harassment. Joining the Reckoning, a rebellious girl gang, Harley discovers newfound passions and love, only to find herself embroiled in a wild conspiracy. The pacing is fast, and the plot is well-developed. I loved how fierce and strong Harley's character is written, as previous works made her character a bit silly. This story unveils Harley's inner workings, unlocking her true potential, which was pushed down by so many. I truly enjoyed this one as it's a riveting read that challenges the norms and keeps readers hooked until the very end. I am onto the next one in the series!

If you like Harley Quinn, you’re gonna love this one. I never wanted to put this book down. There are definitely some unexpected twists and love the lil name drop there at the end ifykyk!!!!

My 14 year old love this series. She said this one may be her new favorite.

This is a fantastic trilogy with one of my favorite DC characters. She is filled with energy and justice and it's time to say enough to the cruelty and whims of the patriarchal wishes from abusive male teens to older. She gets inspired by the Joker and with her girlfriend she'll fight for justice, delivering revenge to each guilty one. Easy to read, the chapters show two timelines: the mystery present, something bad happened to her friend, and the past, how they got into trouble. Can't wait to start the other two soon.Thank you netgalley for the copy.
