Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Permanent Hair Color, R48 Red Velvet (Intense Deep Auburn), Pack of 1 Hair Dye Kit

I used R48 Red Velvet on natural medium-brown hair that had not been dyed before and the initial effect after dyeing was that it was much darker than before (but this lightened back to medium after a few washes) but the red color is brilliant and attractive. It has a slightly blue sheen undertone on brown hair which is a gorgeous contrast to the red color. It's very lovely in natural light, but it can be hard to see indoors depending on the lighting. I have seen some reviews voice concern about how dark it looks after dyeing but it will lighten up and just show the color after a few washes, so fear not if you don't like that! Another positive aspect of this dye is that it's very easy to clean up off of countertops and the tub. It will lift very easily with only cleaning vinegar. I was pleasantly surprised. Will buy again.

Best hair dye

I have been using Féria red shades for 5-6 years now, and it’s the one brand that never disappoints. A few months ago, I had decided to go a very deep dark brown, but then changed my mind and wanted to go back to the Red Velvet (dark red) Féria color. So I actually sat in a hairdressers chair and spent a ton of money and 3.5 hours of my time to get back to the red shade I prefer. So not worth it! I wound up having hot roots. I was so mad. Especially since I was assured she would make it work. Obviously it didn’t. A few weeks later, I then bought the Féria Red Velvet color, and it completely restored it to the color that I’ve grown so much to love. I won’t ever use anything else now. This may be a boxed color, but it has continued to give me better results than paying money out the nose at a salon, only to be highly disappointed more than once. In my opinion, and with lots of experience, Féria is the highest quality boxed hair color that money can buy. If this is your first time to consider buying it, trust me...this will give you the best results. My hair always looks so amazing after I use it. The color is vibrant and rich, and has a healthy shine to it. I know red fades faster than most, but truthfully, I find that the color lasts and stays true. I also only wash my hair twice a week, 3 times at most and use Batiste dry shampoo in between to extend my was days. I get so many compliments on it, even from strangers. For reference, I’m 46 and have fine hair but a lot of it. It’s long, wavy, layered and I now have those pesky white hairs growing in at the roots. I have never had a problem with those being completely saturated by this color. I’d been buying 2 boxes, but this last time, with my daughters help, surprisingly I was able to get by with using only one box and still saturate all of my hair. It CAN be accomplished, but if you have a lot of hair I suggest going ahead and purchasing 2 boxes. I hope this review was thorough enough to help someone out. Don’t be afraid to rock the red!! I have pretty long hair but on the thinner side. I usually need 2 boxes so I ordered this, and actually only used 1 with a bit to go.. covered my whole head!! I already had a fading red color, this came out true to the color match and gave a super deep red I've been trying to make by mixing colors for years by professional brands which was EXTREMELY messy.. just cover your forehead and ears/surrounding areas you don't want dye on with Vaseline and have rubbing alcohol (and cotton balls and an old washrag) nearby for quick clean up.. comes off of skin easy, but if you get it on any surface try to clean IMMEDIATELY because it will stain pretty much on contact, but that of corse comes with all deep red or purple dyes.. and this product now has a shampoo after dying that is new to me but made the process last and smell alot better than normal when dying at home. Box dye has a bad rap, but if you keep your hair conditioned.. only wash a couple times a week and dry shampoo on the other days, it lasts and looks professional 👌

I absolutely love this L’Oréal hair dye. What really impressed me is that it works beautifully on natural black hair without any bleaching. The color comes out as a soft, subtle red, and it looks especially gorgeous under sunlight — very natural and shiny, not too bold. It also doesn’t feel overly damaging to my hair. My hair still feels smooth after coloring, which is a big plus for me. I’ve repurchased this dye many times from different places because it’s been so reliable. Recently I saw it on Amazon at a discounted price, which was such a great deal, so I went ahead and subscribed. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for an easy, low-damage way to add some color to dark hair. Highly recommend! FYI： it will dye the floor and the wall!

Love the color. Make sure you rinse your hair really well to remove any excess dye.

This worked so well for my hair at first but it didn’t last long only a couple weeks. It’s also a lot darker red for brown hair then I wanted it to be. I had to use 2 boxes since my hair is long and thick. Every shower I took it felt like I was washing the dye out and red was coming out even after leaving the dye in for a while. Your not able to swim for a while because the dye will come out. I would go to CVS and get the box dye

Im sorry I dont have a photo but trust that the red is where its supposed to be and there are lots of dark areas too.. each strand of hair is like a difft color creating a nuance of magniificence! I LOVE it! There's even a condition to add with the color to make sure my hair stays in good shape......... Im very happy with it!

Lovely vibrant colour still vibrant after 2 months

I bought it and tried it the same way they mentioned in the instructions. but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. I won't recommend this to anyone

Beautiful deep burgundy red! Made hair soft and shiny. Smells nice and so far, vibrant after 4 washes

My family loves this colour on me. Also the colour really lasts. It does not f.ade after several weeks!!
