Well done accessory for my tablesaw
I'd tried making a zero-clearance insert for my Dewalt DWE7480 table saw, but because of the way it's made, a flat piece of wood needed too much work to make it fit. This insert fits perfectly after sanding off the tabs and gives a nice smooth surface at the level of my saw table. It was easy to make the initial cut, and I cut the slot further to allow for the riving knife. It was simple to do - once I made the initial cut, I put the original plate back in, flipped the insert over and set it over the slightly raised blade, and set my fence against the edge of the insert. I took the insert off, and cut a slot from the back to the slot I'd just made. It works great, and turned out to be simple to fit.

Excellent
These throatplates fit my 7491rs perfectly. They are well-made, stiff, and easily adjustable. It's easy to add a splitter.

The fit is very good
They fit very snug in my Dewalt saw, although you do need to shave the nubs on the end to fit well. The only complaint I have is that they don't already have the slot for the riving knife. When you raise the blade to make the zero clearance, the blade will not go up high enough to accommodate the riving knife. You'll have to find a way to make that cut. The riving knife is an essential safety tool and I use it all the time.

Best Zero Clearance Insert I've Seen
This is a very well thought out insert, from the sandable tabs on the side, that are there to ensure a snug fit, to the screws on the end and side that serve a similar purpose. I've seen a couple of people complaining about the mounting tabs on the end being brittle or breaking. I just soaked them both in CA glue, or super glue to most. The MDF material will absorb the glue and become hard as a rock. If you get it a little heavy, just sand or file off the excess. I typically make my own inserts but seeing as how my time is very limited these days, this is by far the best option I've came across to fill the void. I just wish he made th for every DeWalt saw.*You can also cut the slot long enough to accept a riving knife, but you have to get creative as you're initially cutting the slot. I won't go into detail because it's not something everyone needs or will want to be doing.

Almost good, but retaining tabs poor
These are almost a good solution. With the Leecraft DWE-2 having gone thru the roof in price (now $52!), I thought I would try these. The machining etc of these is good. The problem is that the little tabs at the back of the insert, the ones that are supposed to keep the back from coming up, are waaaay too fragile! One of the inserts arrived with the tabs damaged to the point of useless; the other, which I installed/cut, was ok but as soon as I was thru installing it, I found that one of the tabs was all but gone. MDF is just not up to the job in that thin a tab.

Totally wrong part for my saw . Had to completely modify them , very disappointed.

Perfect Fit
I bought these to replace the one that came with the saw because there was a very large gap on either side of the saw blade. This not only provides clean tear out free cuts but also doesn't allow small pieces to fall down between the blade and the old insert. Very happy with these inserts, one for thick kerf and another for a thin kerf blade.

Perfect
Ordered a different throat plate that was advertised to fit on a Dewalt 7491rs and it was a poor fit, simply terrible.Got this and even though pricey, proved to be a great solution

Worth every penny.
I had a project coming up and did not have the time to make inserts for a new blade. This was perfect to use on my Dewalt DWE7491RS. Setup at 90 and put the blade up through the plate which fit in great with almost no tweaking at all. Beautiful cuts, no fuss 5/5.

Awesome product.
The media could not be loaded. Arrived pretty quickly considering international shipping. Placed it straight into my DWE7491 and it fit very snug. 👌🏻.It then sat for 2 days as it was my first zero clearance plate and I was nervous about raising the blade. But the Bunnings purchased Kango 60 tooth blade went through no dramas, after finishing the cut with a jigsaw to fit the riving knife, out of the bag height was almost perfect for the table top and only required a very minor adjustment to slightly lower it.
