This press is totally and completely inadequate for pressing sugarcane. First, the bolt holding the wheel on the shaft stripped out from the pressure, after fixing that, the bolt that holds the handle on bent. After fixing that, a key piece holding one of the rollers broke it for good. On top of that, this press is filled with rustable parts and if using it for something wet like sugarcane, it begins rusting immediately. Overall, the design will never hold up to the pressures needed to press sugarcane and this press should never be used for it.
