I've been rigging it since, expecting to replace the recliner next time it broke. When it broke over the weekend I had an epiphany - see if someone sells replacement mechanisms. Watch a YouTube video on replacing the mechanism. Ding! Removed busted mechanism in 3 minutes, measured it, and searched desertcart. Sure enough, found the exact mechanism for roughly $10. Arrived in two days; installed in 5 minutes. Recliner works like new! Review: Easy replacement - So nice to have a replacement part that fits and is easy to install! Unfortunately not everything is made to last these days so there is this product. The pull on my couch broke and I found this pull and I bought an extra one just in case! If you need a replacement for you couch recliner then this product is for you! ## Features - Match by Size: oval handle face 3.5 by 3 in; exposed cable length about 4.75 in, measured from the buckle to the top of the Z-hook bend; total cable length about 37 in. Compare these three numbers with your original part - sizes vary a lot between models, so measure first. - 2 Sets in One Box: 2 x plastic recliner handle replacement and 2 x recliner cable replacement (black) - replace both sides of a loveseat or couch, or keep the second set as a spare. - Fits Most Recliner Sofas: made for major recliner couch brands, including Ashley, Southern Motion and Lazy Boy style furniture; not universal to every model, so the measure-first note above matters. - Easy Repair: the only tools needed are a cross-point screwdriver and needle-nose pliers; an installation video on the product page walks you through it. - Buy with Confidence: 30-day money-back and 3-month replacement. If the part does not meet expectations, contact us and it gets resolved. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0971Y8RN3 | | Additional Features | Adjustable Backrest | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Assembly Instructions Description | To install the recliner replacement parts, you will need a cross-point screwdriver and needle-nose pliers.
