Ooh yeah, we’re jammin’
Sounds great, very funky, good for reggae or trying to sound like Jerry Garcia. The controls are easy to use (started with everything set at noon, and dialed it in from there.) Seems well built so far. I used to have a DOD FX25 envelope filter, and I like this little guy more. Great value for the price

Insane
Insane pedal at affordable price!!!

Its OK
True bypass though not the cleanest effect. Not sure if i would buy this again but its cheapest enough to hold on to. Despite the simple controls I'm struggling to dial in the sound I want. I may just be expecting too much from such a simple and affordable pedal.

Did not work
Ordered one, did not work. Ordered a second, didn’t work either. The clean tone worked fine but the second i tried to turn on the effect absolutely no noise came through. Do not buy.

Great pedal with multiple effects.
This pedal has very good modulation effects. I believe that the Chorus, Flanger, Tremolo, Phaser, Vibrato and Rotary are the most pronounced effects. The Autowah is OK. The Liquid, Stutter, Ring and LowBit are fun to play around with and interesting. I will often use a chorus effect in a song while playing guitar and will occasionally need a Flanger, Tremolo, Phaser or Vibrato also, but not all of them in a song. So with this pedal, I can us my chorus pedal and use the Flanger, Tremolo, Phaser or Vibrato also. Then I can change the pedal to another setting for a different song. It saves me at least three spaces on my pedal board. I would recommend this product and would purchase it again. (I currently own two of them.) Note - I was not compensated in any manner for this review.

Neat little effect got the Jerry Garcia wah sound down for $30,
I was lookin` high and lookin` low, then along comes this pedal which is by far the lowest priced by over $100 than anything"that works well anyway" and it appears to be about as good as anything I`ve seen in youtube reviews to at least experiment with the Jerry sound for a lot of those dead tunes that if you love them, you really need to have that whatever you want to call it but I call it or think of it as a compressed wah sound and Jerry friggin caught it, tamed it and made it his own with the electro harmonix Q-tron. But those cost $300 and yes they have more range. BUT-this does the job if you want to hear it period. the range it clips into it and has less range or degree of adjustment and it`s not as fine tuning but It still gets the 5`s because it does it all for $30 so you can go do what you do with what you can afford and if you can afford more and read reviews or just buy them until you find your holy grail-go at it ladies and gents, but this old soul isn`t in that tax bracket these days. And again this more than does the job so why search furthur? Ah furthur, miss those days.... Be cool, be kind and mostly just be who you are and be happy without making others unhappy, in others words trite or not: Peace out.

Help with Envelope Filters Here
So reading these reviews it’s clear once again that envelope filters are too hard for most musicians to figure out. I will try to explain. This isn’t an auto-wah, if you want one of those maybe Joyo Wow Wah would help. Wahs shift around a peaking filter, while this Flamma shifts around a resonant high pass filter (HPF). This is the same kind of filter used in most synths, and indeed Moog has long made an envelope filter pedal. What synths call Resonance this calls “Q” and what synths call Cutoff Frequency this calls “Tone.” “Decay” is similar to the ADSR decay on a filter that is following an envelope. Armed with that knowledge (though you may know nothing about synths but carry on), we can have some initial settings to try. I suggest setting Q and Tone in the top quarter of the range if not dimed. decay in the lower half of the range, maybe 11:00. Engage the pedal with the switch, the light will turn on if powered properly, and then comes the hard part: sensitivity. The sensitivity control decides when to trigger a sweep of this resonant HPF based on how loud the incoming signal gets. Sweep the control slowly through its entire range to start hearing the quacking of the filter. This is a very unironically sensitive control and it has to be nailed to the signal level for good sweeps to happen. Therefore you may need to compress or distort your signal *before* hitting this pedal, which will give it an even volume level to work with and sweep best on. The nice thing about this type of pedal is it maintains full bass information as it works. An auto-wah typically does not…meaning the envelope filter is favored for bass and synth use and the auto-wah for electric guitars. But you can use any with any understanding the tradeoffs. Otherwise, this is a completely terrific deal, really the only thing that could be improved much is the sensitivity could be more forgiving in its setting. It has to be perfectly nailed to how loud the signal is coming into the pedal otherwise you won’t sweep. Also, if your signal doesn’t have much high frequency information to resonate it won’t be a particularly strong effect. But this pedal sounds good here, however, realize I know this stuff inside and out and you are forgiven if this is too hard to get right in practice.

Really great pedal, especially for the price.
This is a KILLER auto-wah! Clean sound, very responsive, lots of flexibility, excellent tones. Get your Jerry Garcia on! This pedal was my first by Flamma, and I now own several of their pedals, and so far they have all been excellent. Solid build, good features, really can't go wrong.
