- DeoxIT D5S-6 Spray, More Than A Contact Cleaner, 142g, Integrated Straw

I've used DeOxit for years, and finally ran out of the small bottle I had. This is what I bought, and please note that this is not the pure stuff but a 5% solution. So far it has worked well on contact surfaces, and the large container with foldable spray option is very handy. This is a good value for keeping DeOxit around.

So far everything I've used this on is operating perfectly. I have a lot of professional sound equipment, and this is a must-have in my tool box. I would go as far as to say this this is to contact cleaner, what Kroil is to penetrating oil! (100 times better). I used it on an original volume pot on a 1980 Stratocaster that I had given up for dead, and it brought it back to perfect working condition.

This isn’t the integrated‑straw can that was advertised. It’s the basic red‑nozzle version, and the straw doesn’t even fit — it’s completely mismatched. It seems like the seller bought a defective batch cheaply and is trying to sell it as if nothing is wrong.

A little dab'll do ya. It works quite well; a bit pricey but the best I've ever used. The can is small but it doesn't take much to make scratchy volume/tone controls like new. I'm pretty pleased at the outcome.

Deoxit D5 is an excellent product, I've been using it for many years. Recently, however, the price has climbed out of sight. Paying $ 20+ for a 5 oz. can is simply highway robbery. The company who now owns the Deoxit line, Hosa, obviously has no scruples about pricing, following the example of the drug companies. This kind of marketing will ensure that a product which has maintained a reputation as the ONLY one of it's kind and quality, will certainly discover serious competition soon.

What a gimmick the perfect straw is. Just another way to drain a few bucks from your pocket. I'm knew to using this product, but have seen and read several reviews regarding the older version without the "Perfect Straw". Seems like it wasn't broke, but they fixed it anyway

I had a bad guitar jack connection. Before changing out the jack, I used Deoxit. It cleaned the jack right up. Just follow the instructions to clean up jacks, pods, switches. Two things to have in your tool bag, Deoxit, and a can of compressed air. Many times just a cleaning will solve the problem.

Was about to listen to everyone that said buy a new radio. The volume was all over the range. Pulled the knob off and 2 sprays later radio was working perfectly. Saved over $300
