Can not speak of longevity but it looks nice. Feels good in my hand. Appears like one I used for four years. The price point was so much better than my original. I have only had for a few weeks but am very pleased

Ok, I'll admit it. I have a phone case addiction. This is the 4th case that I have purchased for my new Iphone 8 plus. The previous cases were Tech 21 Evo Check, Otterbox Symmetry, and the UAG Monarch case. These are all drop rated cases which cost significantly more that the Incipio Octane. But, I just received the Octane case and I think it's going to be my daily use case. Here's why. I can't stand cases that make my already wide Iphone 8 plus any wider and difficult to hold. The Tech 21 and Otterbox both add too much width to the phone. In addition, the Tech 21 case texture is slimy and gets filthy looking from fingerprints, smudges. The Otterbox texture is actually very nice and if it wasn't as wide as it is it would be a great case. The UAG case adds minimal width to the phone, offers great grip and has a great feel in the hand. However, it is a thick (as opposed to wide), heavy case but offers great protection. But, it is a little too bulky and heavy for daily use in my office and fitting in my pants pocket. I will likely use this case when I am in the gym or doing outdoor activities as it does offer great protection.I decided to try the Incipio Case based on the reviews and my previous positive experience with Incipio cases in the past. I was looking for a case that added minimal width to the phone, offered good drop protection (the Octane has 6 ft drop protection), was not thick and bulky, looked good, and has good grip. The Octane case checks all the boxes for me. I am very pleased with the case and hope it will hold up over time.

I saw this case in a 50 foot drop test on YouTube and it survived! Was so impressed by that that I had to buy this. (I don't actually think it is officially rated for a 50 foot drop though).Fits perfectly. This case is easy to put on and remove as needed. I've had this case for about a month and it has handled a few drops just fine. I like that it does not show fingerprints. However, it does show minor scratches but that's not a big deal to me. The grip along the edges of the case are great too. The opening for the charging port is large so it should be able to fit larger cables. I like that the Incipio logo on the back of the case is very subtle. I picked this case over a RhinoShield  iPhone 7 Plus Case, RhinoShield [PlayProof] Heavy Duty Shock Absorbent [High Durability] Scratch Resistant. Ultra Thin. 11ft Drop Protection Rugged Cover - Black  because it was actually pretty bulky even though they are advertising it as "Ultra Thin". This Incipio case felt thinner in my hand than the RhinoShield one.Overall satisfied with this case and would highly recommend it.

Apart from ordering the black case with clear backing and getting the gray one....twice, I decided to keep the case because I needed a new one and the gray wasn’t so bad. The reason I mention it isn’t lasting is because not even after a month of use, the colored edge is already separating on the right side. I wanted to return the case but I am out of the country and would need to return the case before I return. I’ll settle for not getting the refund but please fix this as I really like the case but don’t think it’s fair to have it start falling apart not even a month after use.

I ordered this case because I loved the color online, and that it would have a rubber edge to provide good grip for my phone. The turquoise is exactly as shown on the site--very pretty! I love how the case feels when I'm holding the phone by its sides, but because of the size of the phone I often have to rest it on my hand while I'm reading/scrolling, and the frosted back is kind of slippery. I also find it easily slides around and off of my desk and tables at home. I had thought the edge would stick out enough around the back to make first contact with surfaces and make the phone sort of skid-proof. Still, it's a nice looking case, and it seems very sturdy and protective. I could see a phone surviving a pretty bad fall in this case. It's hard to find such a solid case that's also fairly lightweight. Price is great.

SO this was probably the hardest box I have ever opened in my life. Lucky I brought a knife to a box fight so I was victorious, I would show you the box via picture but then I gave it to my niece then she proceeded to fatality the box. RIP Box.Anyways, I love the case. Frost is my favorite color. I mainly bought this to replace my Outterbox symmetry cause all my otherr cases have been lost in my jungle of other phone cases. The buttons on the sides actually work and are pretty responsive, the symmetry case buttons were almost like you had to have Hulk fingers to press.It covers are edges good and yeah, this is a good case. Would recommend anyone.

This is my second cover and I love them. I like that I have a choice of color. And I feel my phone is protected.

After using this case for almost a year and switching between Tech 21 and others always come back to it. It is better than Tech 21 in keeping dirt out of the case. It has a tighter fit (not as easy to put on) . I’ve dropped it several times and out of all of them I only have had a crack on my scree (glass) protector which I have a lifetime replacement on. It fit the phone well,buttons operate adequately, and the lavender color looked good on my Rose Gold Iphone 7 plus. Has good protective edges. Better than more expensive Tech 21. Good feel, back is not slick and does not show scratches. Getting ready to order another in a different color. Very happy with the purchase.

i do like Incipio, but i m disappointed with this case too , Power button very hard to press and also this case i do have problem with signal too ! hope Incipio will improve !

Nice case. I love incipio cases. Have not had long enough to assess it's full durability yet so cannot really give 5 stars. Bases on price, look and fast delivery would give 5

Pedí el case porque era también para iPhone 7 Plus, por ende iPhone 8 Plus que es el que yo tengo, y me llegó uno que es solo para iPhone 6 Plus. 😒
