Funny story - Trader Joe's plantain chips now have jerk style flavor. I tasted it and it reminded me of something tasty I had before - although I couldn't pinpoint exact what it was, except I knew it was for chicken. So I searched around and found this and gave it a try. I meant to get chicken wings but I couldn't find them on time, instead I got some legs and thighs instead. I had no idea how much to use, how long to marinate and whether I should add other spices, I ended up marinated the meat with the Jerk spice with some olive oil the night before. I also added more Jerk spice before and after baking. The result - good enough! Everyone in the family tried it loved it. Mildly spicy and mildly salty. I have plenty left to bake/BBQ 10 more times. Great value.

I bought this product a few months ago. As a Jamaican, good seasoning is very important. This is the best dry jerk seasoning I’ve used. The flavor is awesome! It has whole pimento and pepper flakes which you don’t see in other products. It is not as salty as some other products. I use it in almost every meat dish that I cook.

This is one of the best jerks I've tasted. Sweet and spicy and cooks well. I've used it on pork because I'm not a huge fan of chicken but would live to try in a fried chicken.

This jerk seasoning has been awesome! It's excellent on pork chicken and even eggs! We love it so much we keep trying to find things to try it on! So worth buying!

The batch I received was so salty it was inedible. I threw it away.

Only problem was there was no lid you had to put in another container to keep spices from drying out which was well worth since the spice was amazing but would have been nice to hear from someone when I complained. And apparently they knew when shipping since they put plastic with a rubber band around it
