Caught on Carnival cruise on 2 different luggages.
These looked promising given the reviews on Amazon. However, my luggage contained mainly clothing and I snuck this container inside one of the shirts, however, it was caught in xray and confiscated. There goes $40 in booze. I snuck another one in a friend's carryon and had the same result, confiscated. Agents claim the nozzle is the part that's visible on their screens. Perhaps try the bottles next time. This was found on the Carnival cruise lines.

Worked like a charm
These worked like a charm! We put them in folded Jean's. As a safety precaution due to other reviews we put them in plastic ziploc bags. None of ours leaked.

JIGS UP. HAD ALL FLASKS CONFISCATED
Mar. 5, 2019 ~Just back from a cruise. Had about $200 worth of liquor in all the flasks spread out over 5 bags. ALL were confiscated. Even the little ones. They are hogs about their cheese and dont like u cutting into that lucrative overpriced drink monopoly. So be aware. 3 years ago i used these on a cruise and not one was confiscated. Time for a re design.

3 liters of booze onto the cruise with no issues!
The product is exactly as described, and comes with a funnel which is handy, we did follow the instructions and fill the bladders with water before we put the alcohol in. The trick is to make sure you get out ALL the air/bubbles that you can... We traveled Carnival from Miami in November 2018, I carried 1 in my jacket pocket through security no problem, we carried one in cargo pants pockets through security no problem and the rest we put in our checked bag so that when they lay the bag down it would be "standing up" if that makes sense. We wrapped them in towels, put one in the toiletry bag, one in the lining of the suitcase, and one in my sneakers.Worst case scenario they take them out and throw them away but for the savings I think it's worth it..but we didn't have any issues

Take a shot (pun intended)!
If you’re looking at this item, you’ve decided that the drink package on board most ships is too expensive or overkill, and you’re looking for a more frugal way to have a few drinks onboard. So, here’s the low down on these. First, yes they are against the rules. But let’s be honest, with the cruise ship industry about to go into disarray from Coronavirus, they aren’t going to do anything except take them from you. Here are some tips on how to get these onboard.1. Wear them! It’s uncomfortable, but they don’t set of metal detectors so you can walk on through every time.2. Pack them near other liquids. All bags are x-rayed so the more random other liquids near this, the less likely they will be seen.3. Put them inside of your toiletry bag. If they do search your bags, they are less likely to find them in another bag.4. Use multiple bags. Put one bag in each bag you check.5. Don’t overdo it. The people who get these removed have put too many in one bag or spot.At any rate, if you split $40 worth of liquor among multiple bags and lose them all, you’re still only out $40 (plus the price of these). That’s less than 5 drinks onboard.

I boozed on my cruise!!
Saved by the flasks!! I just went on a cruise last month on Royal Caribbean and it was IMPERATIVE I bring my own liquor. Came across these in a Reddit feed and I’m so glad I did. I filled the largest one, close to a gallon, with vodka and had 0 issues. My two friends who I roomed with were also able to get their liquor safely on board as well. I brought a smaller flask around everywhere with me and made my own drinks the entire time. So much money saved, and I owe it all to this flask set! It’s a MUST HAVE for a cruise, and I will never cruise without them again.

Worked great, told all my friends and family
We took 3 of these (32oz) on our recent NCL cruise no problem (... people who think they are getting unlimited drink package for “free” are fooling themselves; do the math and it costs $500 per 2-person cabin to get that “deal”). Followed instuctions to get all the air out (since a small finger nail sized bubble remained no matter what we did) and packaged thin-side up when luggage is facing up). Cabin steward saw we had put them in the mini-fridge (just take everything out and put it all back on last night to avoid being charged) and he didn’t mind (his job is to make us happy more than anyone else on the boat).

Worked as promised! Step by step of how I did it.
So the first thing I did was research how to get booze on a cruise ship (I booked Carnival). I bought these because they were less expensive and had good reviews1: Take off the snap ring on the cap - This is something that I heard because the ring gets in the way, causing leaks. I had no issues with leaking but I double bagged it anyways.2: Squeeze all the air out, or as much as you can. bubbles can give this away, or so I'm told.3: Mix it in with other toiletries - To pack, mine went in a plastic shopping bag then in to a ziplock gallon bag with some bandaids, deodorant, and tums. Then it was rolled up in a leg of jeans.4: Pack near the bottom of the bag or near the wheels of checked luggage. I figured it would mask the lids as someone mentioned that was a give away as well and they show up in X-ray.5: Pack on the side of the bag. My bag gets laid down going through the xray so I thought I can make it less of a noticeable contraband if it was a smaller footprint.6: Put stuff on top of it. If you have a toiletry bag and random knickknacks to place over it. I used that on one side of the luggage and shoes on top of the masked bags. This may seem like a lot of steps but I found no issues. We brought on 2 32 oz bags in 2 suitcases and I walked on with the small bags, no problem. I hope this helps anyone

Fab for Cruising
These were perfect! Restrictions on cruises only allows 1 bottle wine per legal aged person (hand luggage). I bought these hoping they would not be detected in my luggage and they weren't, so we had our own booze to enjoy. We love cruising but the liquor on board the ships is just too expensive.
