Ordered these lights for a 2005 Harley Davidson heritage soft tail classic. The installation was not bad. The metal adjuster that headlight comes installed on would not fit the headlight housing. I installed the headlight using the original ring that hold the headlight to the housing as well as wedged in some rubber to hold the bottom of the headlight away from the housing a bit so now I can actually see down the road. It's was a plug and play install except for, I did have to cut the wires for the fog lights and connect the plugs that came with the lights. Connector pieces/ plugs were included. Light is great made a pretty big difference for riding at night. They are bright enough to drown out some of the glare from other cars and actually see down the road. I would buy again and recommend

Bright. Easy plug and play on 2013 flh. On passing lights it's easy to connect upside down. So before you place lights in housing . Turn power on to make sure plugged properly. You will see writing on each plug. Make sure writing is on same side. For male and female plug.

I recently acquired a 2007 Heritage Softail with some mismatched auxiliary lights. While searching for a factory replacement Incame across these on sale and figured I would give them a try. These cost only a little more than replacing one original HD lamp, but offered updated looks and improved lighting. The headlight was a little bit of a pain to install. The lights come with an adapter ring, a retaining ring attached, and some wiring harnesses. But no instructions so I was left on my own to figure it out. I’m a pretty adept DIY gear head so I figured it out, but it did take some trial and error. First thing I discovered was not to use any of the provided hard way. The large adapter ring with adjustment screws was obviously not needed. I did disassemble it to try the providing retaining ring, but I left the light too loose. The provided screw were also soft and would not fully tighten, fortunately they stripped before the housing threads. I used the original factory retaining ring and screws. The headlight fit is very tight, once you get the registration tabs to fully seat. They were so tight I had to finally seat them with a calibrated thwack from the heel of my hand to get the last tab to pop into place. Take your time to make sure you get this right or your trim ring will not install flush and the headlamp will be incorrectly aimed. The auxiliary driving fog lamps went in much easier. But since one of mine was not original I was missing the factory plug and the middle retaining ring. Fortunately the extra harness plugs provided allowed me to spice in the correct connector. What I didn’t like was that there is no labeling to tell what is the top of the lens. This is important since they are not symmetrical beam patterns. Before install I connected the harness and turned the lights on to see the pattern. Proper orientation is a straight horizontal cutoff at the top with a beam pattern casting light down the road in front of you. The aux lamps have no registration tabs and solely rely on the retaining ring, so take your time to keep them aligned level. I know others compare them to HD Daymakers, and while they are definitely better than the original halogen lighting, they are not as good as the HD parts. But at literally a tenth of the cost I couldn’t be happier!

PROS Just received this light kit... had it installed in about an hour. Absolutely no problem with the install and with that being said, the install kit had everything the install needed. It even contained plug & play cables, but I actually had to cut back on the cable running from the fog light cases and connect the wires inside the fog lights to have enough room to seal the lights back in their cases. They supplied the crimp connectors in the kit, also. The headlight connected directly to the existing 3-prong connector... again, plug & play... CONS The original fog lights came encircled with a heavy-duty foam strip about 1/2 inch thick that keeps the fog lights from turning. This is because there is a small gap between the light and the decorative chrome lock-down ring that keeps the fog light in place. I was lucky and found a roll of 3M Weather Seal in a drawer, and made my own seal since this was the only item that was not included in the kit. In closing, this is a fantastic product, and I would definitely buy it again.

I have purchased these lights in the past for other bikes and have been pleased every time the brightness is outstanding around the quality and condition of the product as well as the packaging looks great I am completely pleased!

Fast delivery. Easy installation in a 2007 ultra glide. Much brighter than stock and look great. Time will tell if they are long lasting. Will update if problems arise Update. It’s been over a year and 7000 km in all kinds of weather. I ride year round. And no problems. Great lights. Update Over 2 years now and still working flawlessly. I ride year round in BC Canada so I ride in many different types of weather.
