Storage Twin Daybed with Trundle and 3 Storage Drawers Platform Bed Frame with Headboard Footboard Kids Bed (Brown)

This bunk bed looks exactly as advertised. We got the espresso color and it looks really nice. It shipped out very quickly, and for the most part, eveything was marked well and the instructions were easy to follow. Putting it together is definitely a 2 person job! And most of it is done with an allen wrench, which is very tiresome if you have to do it by hand. We are very glad to have it and our boys really like it. Now for the bad news. When it arrived, we were missing a main piece. There was a paper in the box with a phone number and email. I tried both, but would reccommend that should you need to contact the company, do it 1. Through amazon, 2. By their email. I got the quickest response through amazon. They did ship us the piece, free of charge, as well as another piece that cracked (I included a picture of that). It was at least a week before the new piece's arrived. Also, one of the pieces had stuff stuck to it, like a huge sticker had been ripped off. And just so you know, the drawers don't run on a track. They have wheels and just sit on the floor under the bed. Lastly, the support bars for the upper bunk seemed to be too short. They had predrilled holes, but if we drilled into one side, on the other, the screw would miss the part of the bed it was supposed to connect with. We added some nails for extra support. The bottom support bars fit just fine. All in all, we are very thankful to have the beds, and they do look very nice. But it was definitely a lot of hassle, and for being over $500, we felt like there were several things that were not done well. Oh ya, when you are putting in the dowels, if it seems a little tight, switch it with a skinnier one, or you might end up cracking the wood!

*****Number of Stars is for product not service received****Just finished setting it up. Chose the white because the spouse wanted it white for our daughter. Can’t tell exactly how long it took but set aside at least 2 hours to build it up. Came in 2 boxes. Can’t objectively evaluate the sturdiness/thickness because I have other sturdier/thicker and this is not the product I ordered. One thing I need to point out is the mislabeling of the screws. If done by machine, there is a need to revisit it. Screws 15 should be bigger and stronger than 13. I was too far into the steps to go back and undo my work. Smaller screws (between 13 & 15) should go into the drawers. Now, I have some safety/cut hazard in the drawers because the end of the screws are little bit out inside the drawers. Not sure how the smaller screws will hold in the larger holes if I have time to undo all of that work and redo it.Finally and most importantly I received a product that is $50 less expensive than what I ordered. If you check out the pictures I posted against what the seller posted, you will see a clear difference. I intend to inquire about it hoping that someone does the right thing knowing the current status of the product.**********************Update *********************The seller was contacted and I accepted their 20% refund offer. I am satisfied with that. They were quick to respond as well.

The “330-lb weight limit per bed” is inclusive of the entire unit…not 330-lb per top and another 330-lbs on the trundle. Clearly the manufacturer is being somewhat deceptive in their description. It would not be an issue except that we purchased this to sleep 2 adults when visiting. The bed is rickety and I really don’t even trust the 200-lb limit on the sticker. I’ll have to try and find a way to reinforce this thing now. And don’t get me started on the bolts showing…some furniture dots would have been easy enough to throw in with the plethora of cam bolts used to put this together. Luckily, Amazon sells those too. I feel bamboozled! 😤

So we ordered this bed expecting the Dark Espresso to match the picture. It did not. Worked with the company and they refunded a portion of the cost. I installed this solo and it does take about 2.5-3 hours to do so. There are some solid wood pieces but also some MDF. Didn't have a strong odor to it, which helps. I 'm using this with an 8" hybrid mattress up top and a 6" below. Mattress is ~30 lbs and I'm 265, so it'll hold at least 300 comfortably. The manufacturer said it'll go to 330 lbs per bed. I wouldn't tempt it, but it did seem fairly sturdy. Wish we had got the design/color we paid for, but given the pain to put back in box and send back, we'll hold onto it. Daughter loves it already and we'll be using the trundle bed often. Got this bed for my 10yo daughter. We downsized from a full but still wanted her friends to hv room when sleepovers happen. It came in 2 large awkward boxes that were heavy, would reccomend 2ppl to move them! It was fairly easy to put together. Only took me alone 2.5hrs from opening boxes, sorting and building. Instructions could surely be better as are only pictures that were not printed well in my booklet. Also the drawers are not very tall so cant fit a while lot in them. We are using for sheets, seasonal extras like gloves and hats and daughter has 1 designated for her slime supplies and whatnots. It seems stury enough although being a family that moves a lot im not sure how many moves it will last being taken apart and put back together though. I do wish the trundle had a guide bc it shifts pulling and pushing in and out and takes a lit bit of effort to get in or take out straight. Overall though I am happy with this bed and so is my daughter! If you are looking for a decent quality bed for a fair price this is it! Your kids will love it!!
