Great quality, fresh tart and nutritious berries. Versatile, good value and tasty.
A great way to get your barbarine! These berries are tart and tiny, but pack a punch. Bought due to taste, health benefits and freshness. Also good value from this seller (the 1.5kg back is big enough to last me for months; I have had issues with freshness from other sellers. I like to decant and store these in Kilner jars). Delivered quickly, deep red in colour and plump. Great quality. I add to yoghurt, porridge, salads and Middle Eastern cooking. Versatile. I first heard of these from Michael Greger and have never looked back. Am a returning customer. Great

Loving the berries & seemingly eco-friendly style of vendor
I love these slightly sour and clean-tasting berries. I use them in central Asian rice dishes, poultry bread-based stuffings, I mix them into my yogurt, and eat them by the handful on their own. And I have a slew of ideas on other recipes to try them in. Iโve also been reading in scientific resources that their namesake component, berberine, forms the basis of a powerful new treatment and prophylaxis against metabolic disease (type II diabetes, insulin resistance, and fatty liver) that rivals Metformin in therapeutic outcome. They arrived by post in a large flat recyclable/compostable envelope, with one very flat vacuum-packed plastic bag inside, leaving minimal packaging waste and presumably incurring very low-emissions cost for shipping. Iโm about to place a repeat order, but for two units this time instead of one.

Exceptional Quality and Flavor!
Iโve tried many barberries over the years, and Dorri Barberries truly stand out. The berries are perfectly dried, vibrant in color, and bursting with that signature tartness that elevates every dish. Whether sprinkled over Persian rice, added to stews, or enjoyed as a tangy snack, they retain an incredible freshness and flavor thatโs hard to beat. What sets Dorri apart is the attention to qualityโyou can see it in the consistent size, the deep red hue, and the pure, clean taste. No stems, no dust, just premium barberries. The packaging is also thoughtful, keeping the berries fresh for longer. These barberries will become a staple in my kitchen, and I highly recommend them to anyone who loves authentic, high-quality ingredients. A must-try for cooking enthusiasts and anyone looking to add a burst of flavor to their meals!

Thorns
These were good but there were a few sharp thorns mixed in with the berries, so watch out for those

If you like them then yes if not oh my god no lol
Having never had these before I thought I would give them a try first mouthful was like a odd sour facial screw up which was probably hilarious to look at but the taste was not nice for me at all. Tried them again to similar effect definitely don't like eating them roll a acquired taste. Tried them in baking it came out not bad but definitely not for me if you like them good if you don't well join the club

Pleasant little bursts of tartness.
Very nice addition to mixed salad, pasta or rice etc. Also I add them to my overnight oats in small quantities. I bought the 100g pack to see if I liked them, but next time will buy in bulk.
