Very important card to have!
I wear hearing aids but still have problems understanding people. I work in a library and help people all day. I have been hearing impaired since childhood so as I age it only gets worse. I wear this card on my lanyard at work. It has helped others to understand and speak a bit louder so I can help them better. Now they don’t look at me like I am dumb. This card allows me to relax and let people know I have a hidden disability. However, I am quite capable of doing my job and enjoy working with others.

Don't Leave Home Without One -- if you're deaf or hearing impaired.
After hearing about deaf and hearing impaired drivers being shot by traffic officers, I thought it a good idea to get a identification card and have in my car to show the LEOs if I am stopped. This card is well made and should last for years with normal use and no card. Manufactured in the USA and sold by a family business. Thanks! (I feel safer already)

A Very Useful Card!
I am Deaf. For the most part, I encounter few difficulties communicating with shop owners, medical personnel, and others within my community. However, it's necessary for me to carry around a hand-written card explaining that I am Deaf and how to speak with me. Hearing card
This card has helped me out a lot. I’m very hard of hearing, almost deaf. I read lips more than hear. People thought I was being rude not answering them or ignoring them. Now I show them the card. They seem to understand and are friendly. Thank you.
