Is this easy to take apart for storage or is it one giant toy once assembled?

Yes you can take the Monster Jam, Megalodon Monster Wash apart for storage. My grandson loves it!

Are there other monster trucks that i can buy that will change color when going thru the car wash?

Yes. You can type color changing monster jam cars in the search bar and they come up.

Does it take batteries

Thank you for your question! No this does not require batteries.

Can you use it without water? Would a 3 year old be able to have fun with it without putting any water in it, just using it as a playset?

My 3 year old loves to play with this with or without water. But if you do put water in it, put a towel down. The water gets everywhere.
