An amazing memory reprinted in the right way
The old treasury editions were rare treats when I was a kid. An oversized comic with incredible story and larger-than-life artwork. Now 45 years later we are getting some great reprints like Superman Vs Wonder Woman and this gem of Captain America. This is an original story written and drawn by Jack Kirby. Fans of 70's Captain America already know what in store for them as Kirby's run on Cap is legendary, but this is reprinted in the same size as the original Treasury Edition, but with a stiffer cover and a few extras thrown in at the end.The story itself is a time-travel story with Cap facing a new antagonist named Mr. Buda. Cap goes from battle to battle in history, learning something. Overall, it's just a fun story. I consider this a must-read just because of the faithful reprint to the original. The end of the book reprints the Marvel 1976 calendar, some ads from books of the time, and a few original sketch pages of the story. Every bit of this is a joy for those of us who read the original, and a gift to collectors who have had to pay top dollar to get a copy in years past. Bronze Age Cap fans will love this, and hopefully current Cap fans will find it a great read as well.

Not The Size of the original Treasury
While the reprint quality is good on nice, white paper, this is not reproduced to the size of the original treasury. It is not as long nor as wide. It is still oversized, but a bit of a disappointment. If you're going to charge $30 for a reproduction, do it right.DC not only produces theirs to the correct size, but in hardback as well.

Another great collection of stories to add to you collection. Even if you don’t know all the stories this book is well down. Enjoy
