Bought these to fix a loose lock on a letterbox. Worked perfectly and seem to be very strong. They need some strength to get them on and I don't see them going anywhere.... Way cheaper than getting a handy person out to replace the lock!

They were all mixed together. Pain in the bum. Took ages to sort.

Unlike some other cheap retaining rings, these are actually spring-tempered so the steel material is hardened and the rings hold their shape and strength when pushed into the shaft groove. If done correctly, they are very easy to install…unlike external snap rings that must be spread apart with a special tool and put on over the end of the shaft, these E-clips don’t need a special tool for installation; they install relatively easily just by pushing them into the groove from the side of the shaft.
