Works with Roku 3
Got a free Roku 3 from my neighborhood ‘Buy Nothing’ group, only downside was it didn’t have a remote. After reading the reviews for this product, I decided to give it a shot to work my free Roku 3. It just arrived today and voilà, c’est parfait! Works great! Just turn on your tv, unplug and reset your Roku player, make sure there are no obstacles between the remote and the Roku device, and the remote automatically connected to my Roku! I followed the instructions in the product description and it worked just fine! It doesn’t have volume buttons, which is no big deal. Thrilled to have a remote that works with my Roku 3 and would recommend to others looking for a replacement remote!

We like it a lot so far
I really like this remote! There are no reviews at the point of writing this and, as I am very reliant on reviews normally, I almost didn't purchase this. We've used the remote daily for the past few days (so I can't speak for its durability). It does not come with batteries, but the buttons are easy to use (slightly squishy and easy to press). We don't use VUDU, but we use the others and it makes it way faster to access our favorite channels.For ours, there is no voice activation or volume buttons (fine by us).

the good. shipped on time and arrived earlier than expected. Remote technically works as stated in description, but the range is really weak and you have to be "just right" to hit the infrared enough to make it work.The not so good: this one might just be personal for me, but - I've been using the remote that came with my roku premiere + since the day I got it. now, my thumb is "trained" to where the buttons should be. and of course they're not the same on this. So I end up hitting the wrong buttons. not a fault of the new remote, but very annoying. no headphone jack either,which I use a lot.Bottom line: it's okay for an emergency remote or just to have a spare; but I would NOT get this as an actual replacement.

Roku Remotes Have a Tendency To Die With US
Our family has been through several Roku TV remotes and they all end in doing the same thing, the volume control stops or we drop it near water and it stops working. The remote sometimes lags with the TV, and sometimes does not pickup your input. I do still recommend Roku TVs but at least for my area even in-store their remotes have been messing up for my family.

Works perfectly
You literally put in batteries and it works. I loved that! And I love that it worked with the roku stick unlike some of the others available. Can't go wrong with this remote for the price. Between my dogs and kids we go through remotes quickly.. and the roku brand ones were getting expensive to replace all the time. This one works just as well for half the cost. Highly recommend.
