Item looks great in our bedroom! It was also very easy to install, only took me 10 mins. My only suggestion would be to not fasten the final metal plate without testing out the different shade options. Both made the room too dark so I decided to just go without.

We LOVE these lights. I was so excited to put them up, I didnt even wait for my husband to get home. Easy to install with no electrical experience. I was able to cut the wires down and let them sit semi flush mount. I used these in my hallway to replace the dreaded "boob" lights and it makes me happy every day I see them!! The cover plate for the ceiling was a bit smaller than the previous hole the other lights created, so I had to add a ceiling medallion to cover up some of the rough edges (rough edges before Medallion shown in attached photo). Works perfectly and looks great!

The bad review is for the recommended bulbs and shades. The recommended bulbs are WAY TOO BRIGHT for this exposed bulb light. Blinding, and makes the room almost blue. The bulbs were recommended in the description, as well as when I asked a question. I tested several different bulbs, as anything 60W or higher you can't even see the fixture due to the exposed bulb. I went with a smaller/shorter table lamp bulb that still sits only about 1 inch above the bottom of the lamp. Anything bigger is hanging out the bottom and blinding. I had the black shade on, and though perhaps the white one would help to diffuse some of the light.. however see note on shade below.For the shade, make sure you know what you want. Once on, you can't change it unless you disassemble the whole light completely (from the ceiling connection down). This purchase was for a small bookstore, so our facilities manager installed it (and also commented on the horrible one page instillation picture). I would have to put in another request to have the light taken down to even try the other shade. Wonk.I do like the look of the light (plus one star... even though I already liked it when I ordered it), however it is smaller than expected. Better for a hallway, small room, or corner.

Holy mackerel, best 32 bucks I EVER spent on a mini pendant lamp--by a ridiculous amount. This lamp is gorgeous. Words fail me. It's built like a tank. It's beautiful. It looks like it legit costs 5-10 times what I paid for it. If you're into these modern minimalist geometric pendants, run, don't walk to buy the D002 style. I cannot wait to hang this sucker in its place of honor over my kitchen sink.

For the money, I give it 4 stars. This was difficult to install because the screws in the second photo (#5 in collage) were not long enough to grab the nuts on the other side. Result is that is hangs loosely from the mount, but luckily it is a lightweight fixture and should be OK. From a distance it looks terrific! Up close, you can see welded spots don't line up exactly.

Loved these. Easy to install and came with two shades black and white. Looks modern and with an led bulb focuses the light directly onto wherever you installed it. Would buy again and I brought 3. one over kitchen sink, two in hallway.

Cute but so incredibly small that all regular light bulbs will stick out of it. Need to use a special flat one, and even then the light is not covered but shines directly to your eyes. I ordered two and one of them arrived with the bronze paint chipped off in places.

One of my two shipments was missing the inserts. So I have to use the white and the black. I didn't open the product right away (fear of losing parts) but I've learned my lesson. It took some figuring out when assembling; instructions weren't great. The parts were difficult to take apart/move around as well. Once I got it in, it works and looks great. One of them worked. The other didn't...
