GREAT for two hyper lab puppies
I'm SO glad that I bought this collar for my two lab puppies. They are between 55-60 pounds and 7 months old. My dogs have responded very well to these collars. We have only had to shock them one time and now they respond to the beep. All I have to do is beep it and they respond. The battery lasts a long time and we have it on our dogs 24/7. I know they're only training collars and they recommend time intervals but my dogs are very hyper labs and are escape artists. So when I let them outside and they get out of the fence, as soon as I beep and yell their names, they come running back. When before, they would NOT come back. When we are in the house and doing something they shouldn't, as soon as I beep it and yell NO, they stop. So they have it on all the time and it's been very durable. It's also weather proof NOT water proof but we have a pond and they always go down and splash around in the pond and they still work. If we went down to the creek I would take it off, we have never had it completely submerged in water. I also took them off the black and red collar and decided to put them on other collars I bought (pink and blue for my kids preference) and it fits on there just fine and it's been working. I would recommend these collars to anyone having trouble training their puppies/dogs. My sister is getting one for her two dogs after seeing the success I've had with mine.

Only works half of the time
This would have been great but the receiver only works half of the time. It's difficult to "be consistent" like it says in the instructions, when it won't do what you need it to do. It works one minute and doesn't the next. I'm not sure if this has to do with the collar going inactive when there is no movement but not all dogs move around while barking. The description also says this works for small dogs but the collar is still too big for our adult chiweenie even with the tightest adjustment. This could be a great product if it came in smaller sizes and did not go inactive/worked 100% of the time.

Works very quickly!
These are an absolute godsend! I have two pups under the age of 1yr that can tend to get very wiley. Being able to train them individually with one device was really great. The handset allows you to easily switch between collar number one and two quickly and easily. You can also switch between shock, vibration, and a beep very fast. I found personally that neither dog ever needed anything more than the vibration collars. The vibration instantly interrupted their train of thought when they were misbehaving. One of my dogs was a rescue and nervous after having been abused so I was definitely concerned and did not want to use a shock collar on her and wondered if a vibration collar would work. She had aggressive barking tendencies towards men, and would go into what many people call a red state of being out of control. The vibration was enough to break her of those bad habits. Yet it was gentle enough that it never frightened her. Keeping the vibration at a medium level of 50 and moving it up 10 to 15 points at a time to a maximum of 100 if she was continuing in an aggressive behavior quickly stopped her actions. Even now if they begin to forget their manners putting their collars on with simply the small weight of the electronic feature and them seeing me bring out the remote, just like small children, their manners seem to immediately get better LOL

So far, so good!
Received collars a day early. Packaging was secure. The collar is black and not orange like it shows in pictures here. The box on the collar constantly stays lit when on the dog, which I find helpful since I can tell if the collar is working or not. It's kind of difficult to get the part of the collar off on the side where you have to charge the collars though. The remote has 4 settings..Light, Beep, Vibration, and Shock that go from levels of 1-100.Just a side note, I have 2 pit bulls who are around 60 lbs each and this is how the collars/remotes have worked for me/them.-The Light option I think is kind of pointless since the dogs can't see it. I tried it at night and it didn't show up on the ground or around us at all.-The Sound/Alarm option is good and at a decent volume where my dogs and I can hear it well.-The Vibration option is pretty much what I use most. It isn't as harsh as the Shock option and my dogs are very responsive to it. It's effective at level 30, as they are very hyper and it's hard to get their attention when they're focused on other things other than what I'm asking them to do.-The Shock option is a little more extreme but not in any sort of negative way. I only have that level set to 10 for my dogs, as that is enough to get their attention and stop the bad behavior.Besides the difficulty in getting the unit ready to charge the only other complaint I have, is when you have to switch modes while trying to keep the remote hidden from the dog can be tricky. If you pay close enough attention once you get used to it you can pretty much do it without looking at the remote. But there have been a couple of times where I've accidentally shocked my dog instead of using the vibration mode because I thought I had pressed it enough times to be on the right mode. It tells you on the remote which mode you're in, but like I said while my dog is barking hysterically at another passing dog and I'm trying to be slick by changing the modes it can get a bit chaotic. I wish there were separate buttons for each mode. It would make it a lot easier. You can use 2 collars on 1 channel for one remote, but my dogs have different issues so that function isn't possible for me to use.You have to charge the collars for 6 hours when you first receive them and after that the battery lasts several days. I have had the collars about a week and have only charged them one time. The battery hadn't shown that it was low yet either but I just wanted to make sure I didn't run it down too far where it wouldn't be ready when I needed it. When the battery needs to be charged, according to the directions, it will start beeping for 20 secs but I have yet to run into that. They recommend that you only use the collars for short training sessions (around 10-15 mins). I usually only put the collars on the dogs when I take them out for walks and potty breaks, and then take them off. However, I have left the collars on for close to an hour a couple times without any issue.I also inquired about the warranty since I have had bad luck with these kinds of collars (from other companies) and they said there's a 12 month warranty that comes with the purchase, but you can also get a 24 month warranty if you register the product on their website at [...].I will update this review in about a month with how things are going with everything. So far the collars are extremely effective with my dogs. They are a tad tricky to operate but definitely doable.

This is by far the best dog training collar for my purposes.
This is by far the best dog training collar for my purposes. Two dogs that barked and one of them still was using our sunroom wood floors as his personal bathroom. It only takes a couple of the vibrates at 30-40 level before they got the message. Once I used the electric shock set at 25 after using it on myself to test the shock. It was just right. My 2 dogs are about 13-15 lbs. I had tried the model where the unit did not come with the remote and they got used to the low volume of vibration and it stopped working. That is the only improvement I would consider for the RopriPetCollar. But, it works great when can control them with the remote. I would definitely recommend this collar.
