Since the backings with the disc may sometimes be beneficial, why wouldn't everyone get them instead of the plain gold/platinum?

I have owned both the Chrysmelia with and without the disc. I wore my first pair without the disc for a year and loved it however one day while taking it off it slipped out of my hands and fell down my sink drain. My second pair I got the disc so that if it did slip it wouldn't fall down my drain. I think they are comfortable with or without the disc. You won't regret the purchase

How big are they? (dimensions in millimeters). Do they weigh more than the butterfly friction catch?

Will these work on 8m old Gbabys earrings? Threaded post/screw on backs but she's still losing backs. We paid alot so we dont want her to lose them
