Weaver Leather Terrain D.O.G. Motion Light

First off I would like to note that this is not a very bright light, so if that is what you need then this isn't for you. I was previously using the Nite Ize brand lights and they are much brighter, but the batteries die fast. That being said, I will take this magnet powered dim light any day. It's dark by the time I am home from work everyday so I always walk the pup in the dark, and I feel better knowing that she has this to draw some attention to her by cars passing by etc. It's working well in minus double digits temperatures so far too. Don't waste your money on the less expensive options, this really is worth it.

Dog light is driven by the movement of the dog which moves a mechanism creating the light. No batteries means it always is available and is sealed against water.

Great for visibility (very bright for a small light) and never needs batteries! Light flickers/flashes when in motion. We were so impressed by the ones we use on our dog collars, we bought two for ourselves. There should be more products like this.

the closure was thin and we lost it after 3 regular walks with no running or anything.it blinks based on movement so we were not able to find it in the grass.same kind of paperclip like mechanism that you find on the 5 for 10 packs of lights

It blinks, it's noticable in low light and at night. Daytime at noon? No, not happening. It seems durable, good shape and solid feeling. I'm happy I don't need to worry about recharging it every other day, or replacing batteries every few weeks. And no, it doesn't blink constantly, which I also love. When she is stationary, sitting, sleeping, etc...nothing. But if she starts scratching, rolling, moving, etc.... blinks.It's waterproof, and she likes rain for some reason, storms not so much. And if a duck is in the pond, forget about it... submarine dog...In other words, could be a good investment for your explorers...
