This is the best lighter. I have used it all winter in high wind weather snowboarding, and it has never blown out. Great for your standard smokables and the width of the arc is perfect for blunts and joints, even fatties. It works well due to the unique arc that acts more like a natural flame than other electric lighters. I have also used it to light candles and campfires and it works well for both.The battery life is rather short due to it being a more high powered arc than normal electric lighters, but having to charge it every few days is not an inconvenience unless you're absent minded about charging things. Just charge your devices like you would your phone. It's super simple.

I opened it up tried it out and next time i went to use it wouldn’t turn on. 0/10 cool idea bad quality.

The most important thing is that it does not self discharge!I got another brand of large arc lighter for Christmas and it was dead in about a week. to the other companies credit they did send a replacement with no questions asked, but just like the first it had arrived completely stone dead. This ruined the cells.THIS lighter on the other hand arrived fully charged and works very well. So long as it keeps working this review will remain at 5 stars. I never forget to update reviews and I will revise it as time goes on. If it lasts a year it will remain 5 stars forever.The box and presentation are extremely nice on this lighter. Far better than the competition. The box has a snap spring opening like that of jewelry or a ring box. The finish on the matte lighter is a very tough powder coat, and the Dewel branding is laser etched into it. It cannot wear off, although the black will eventually chip if you were to keep it in your pocket with other items.Hopefully it lasts. These large arc lighters can ignite almost anything instantly. Very hot!

The first lighter delivered broke after 2 uses. One of the arc wires came loose and was dangling. We decided to try a replacement rather than a straight return. Have been using this second lighter for a week with no issues. Battery hold a decent charge. I suggest charging while not in use if it dying worries you. Not sure I'd leave it charging overnight, unattended, to be safe. Just saying.I'll try to remember to post updates as we use it. We really do like this lighter! If you are a cannabis flower user this type lighter is perfect. Had no idea that the burning butane was so nasty and harsh until is was no longer present. Do yourself a favor. Find one of these single arc plasma lighters. We won't go back to butane, ever.

It doesn't have the best battery life but boy does it work when it is charged.I like the lighter quite a bit! It's also super easy to take apart as well.Feels good, and I like the way it turns on and off with the lid and all it needs is a button press.

My last lighter (the same type) lasted about 9 months and I couldn't find another one just like it. and after 6 months of using Bic lighters I found this one. I've had this one for three days and haven't charged it yet ! I hope it lasts longer than the last one. I sure like it though, no finger prints !

I bought this lighter less than 2 months ago. Thought it was great. Used it every day until today it just quit working. It's fully charged. When I open the lid all the lights light up. When I push the button the lights dance but no spark Nothing.

I really like this lighter it was easy to use All I had to do is recharge it but after 6 months I could not charge it no more it would light up but would not charge I wish it still work because I really liked it
