At first I thought it was a lot of money to spend on a couple of 2x4s that show up terribly wrapped in a rigged-together cardboard box combo (given the length). But it’s actually very nice. My wife likes the smell when it gets wet and it’s very durable and well made. Because the manufacturer has only specked it for a stand-alone tub if you have tiles on one side (alcove installation) like most people you will need to DIY it to fit because you probably don’t want it hanging over the front edge where you have a curtain, and the crossbars underneath the bench likely won’t line up properly with your tub. I had my local hardware store cut 1.5” off one end for $2 and it fits perfectly. I didn’t need to adjust the crossbars underneath but you can read in some reviews that others did. Make sure you look at the detailed measurements before purchasing so you know what you’re getting. It is a great product when it fits and beats the heck out of those cheap and flimsy “extendable” tub trays.

The bench is not worth the price. The box wasn't damaged, but the wood had a 4" slice cracked open at the end of the bench. It also arrived in a box 1/3 larger than it's size, with no packing material. So who knows how the damage to the wood occurred...
