VOUNOT Plastic Garden Edging 10M,Grey

I bought 2 x 10 meter rolls of this (prime same day delivery 👍🏼) turned up in a big box with no damage. It is great stuff! we had some old wooden boarders that were on their last legs and replaced them all with these. it cuts really easily, i used a saw and it took seconds. The pegs are very sturdy and if you have actual dirt in your garden will be no issue at all, we have a new build garden so our “dirt” is actually mostly rubble and is awful also very solid ground due to them never laying any topsoil…, so i had to substitute the pegs provided with some metal garden steaks in points, but the bits where there were minimal rocks the pegs supplied went in like a dream! If the ground is uneven (again new build garden so ours is awful for lumps and bumps everywhere) it will be hard to get a perfect straight line with no wibbles, but unless you want to pay top dollar for metal slat edging this stuff is ideal, and for the price i am very happy! I shall be buying more when we do further work out there.

I'm really happy with this product. It was to create an edge around a gravel seating area (to hold the gravel in place and the flowerbeds/lawn the other side). I installed the weed-proof membrane, then used this around the outside with the fixings on the side where the gravel was going to be. It's the ideal height for containing the gravel and the 30 ground nails worked well to secure it (and were easy to hit into the ground with a rubber mallet - or just by pushing in actually, and our soil is heavy clay). Others have said that this wasn't enough but I found it to be about right (and there were lots of curves in my design!). You're not supposed to put one in every hole after all - every 3-5 holes is sufficient I found. It's a shame you can't seem to order extra nails from the seller if you need them, as this would be handy. But this has been so much more enjoyable to install than the type of edging I tried a few years ago that had to be partially buried (that didn't work at all well with root, etc... to negotiate! No such problems with this product). This is secure, effective, looks good and was easy to install. Worth buying.

Plastic tape is very good and easy to shape any way. There is sufficient number of plastic pins to install it. However plastic pins are low quality and only suitable in soft ground. They easily bend or break when installed in hard or rocky ground - so for that reason bit unfit for purpose. Better off using long sleeper screws'.

I noted a review that said it was difficult to straighten the curled product. I first wound it the other way, then staked it out on the lawn as straight as possible let the heat of the sun set it straight. It was then easy to stake in position. I added heavy duty weed fabric and finished with slate chippings. Very pleased with the result and it was quick to do. See photos.

Due to a leak, I needed to redo my tiny wildlife pond. Made from three car tyres, and now lined with pond liner from Amazon, I built it up and with the edging in place, The liner was laid over the whole thing but I needed the edging to act as a water retainer, with plants around it. The ten meter length edging was enough to make a 'back to back' liner securing. Problem was, nowhere near enough pegs for all of the holes in edging, so I had to buy a lot more to do a good job of it all and keep the edges of the liner in place. The liner covers where the tyres butt up against one another. I got the levels just right to have a low point at one end to allow overflow of rain water whilst keeping the pond full for the fish. I'll add photos later to show what I mean. Added a few plants and sticklebacks Solar powered pumps keep the water circulating. The edging could be bent to create the shape I needed. I docked a star for not adding enough pegs like one per hole. Otherwise a very good product.

I love this. I was a little concerned about how plasticy (sp?) this would look in the garden, where I prefer a natural style wherever I can. I used this to edge stones around a pond, and also to create a large circle around several fruit trees. It's worked great. Very easy to cut to size and it's so flexible you can easily make it into waves or circles to the shape you need around the garden. Plenty of pegs come with this set, but make sure not to hammer in too hard as the heads can snap off (it is plastic!) The green colour doesn't stand out at all, and is doing a great job of allowing me to strim the lawn around the edges and not damage the plants inside. It's a good price for how much you get and If I need more in the future I would definitely get this again!

Was pleased with the way this was so easy to work with and cut. I used it for a border for a shell bed and also in an area where I placed some pebble rocks. I was pleased with the edging.

La relación calidad-precio es bastante positiva, aunque no se debe esperar una durabilidad superior a la de otros materiales más rígidos.

Je cherchais une solution pour délimiter ma zone de paillage pour mes haies et ma pelouse, le paillage ayant la fâcheuse manie à se retrouver dans le gazon ce que n'appréciait pas ma tondeuse qui passait constamment sur les copeaux de bois. J'ai réfléchis à plusieurs solution (bordure bois, pavés...) mais toutes assez couteuses et/ou fastidieuses à mettre en oeuvre. Je suis tombé sur ce produit totalement par hasard et c'est exactement ce qu'il me fallait. Ca semble de qualité, le PVC ne va pas pourrir à l'inverse du bois, c'est relativement bon marché par rapport aux autres solution et surtout c'est extrêmement simple et rapide à mettre en place. Ca a du me prendre une heure à peine pour installer 30m, et ça ne bouge pas. Au final c'est très discret et ça délimite très bien. Contrairement à certains commentaires je n'ai pas trouvé qu'il manquait des piquets, j'ai mis un piquet tous les 4 trous environ et ça tiens parfaitement. Avec une masse on les enfonce très facilement même sur sol dur. Personnellement c'est en ligne droite mais le produit étant assez souple il est possible de faire des formes plus originales sans problème pour des massifs ou autre. J'en recommanderai sans hésiter pour mes futurs aménagements.

Came in a box with 2 rolls of the plastic wall edge, also with 4 bags of long plastic screws. Without any problems the screws went through the soil (using a metal hammer 🔨) and not once did any of the screws break! I would definitely buy this product whenever I need it again. ⭐️
