I recently purchased Bill Asher's electro Hawaiian Junior lap steel and I loved it so much I had to get this one. The care and craftsmanship put into these instruments is second to none. No wonder Ben Harper has Bill make his guitars for him! I have a wide assortment of guitars... Everything from Les Pauls to Telecasters and Strats, a Duesenberg, a Gretsch 6120 and a 335, but these are now my go to instruments. They are so much fun to play! Throw a chorus pedal on the Acoustic Imperial or a wah wah and a Tube Screamer on the electro and have fun! I am more into blues and rock, but you can experiment with different tunings and find what you want. Bill Asher makes the best in lap steels and Weissenborn guitars, so don't worry about the expense. Think quality.... You will be happy you did!
