This is the most inappropriate toy for little kids. The Chinese accent is so bad, instead of "SAX", it says "Sex". This product needs to be removed from Amazon immediately. Unfortunately for me, it's past its refund point, so I can't return it and it was gift for my neice. Which by the way was very embarrassing to see this and hear this in a video that their mom (my sister) sent me. She thought it was funny, but as a aunt I was more appalled that this was on a child's toy. advice....DO NOT BUY THIS!

There is no volume control on this mat and the woman that recorded the names of the instruments is a non-native English speaker. The pronunciations are very hard to understand and she clearly pronounces “sax” (short for saxophone) as “sex.” Proceed with caution unless you want a toy that teaches your toddler to say sex!

You can barely understand the words being said. We thought it was a completely different language at first. The accent is so strong, you can't understand anything. Waste of money for learning.

For saxophone they used "sax" for abbreviation but sounds like the woman is saying "sex" would not recommend for children. No sound control, called for AA batteries but required AAA. Heavy accent cannot understand what she is really saying. Please read other reviews before buying. Throwing mine away because it's not worth teaching my English speaking kids from saying sex.
