EZCast TwinX Package USB-C DisplayPort to HDMI Wireless Display Transmitter and Receiver Kit, Screen Mirror iPhone 15 and iPad, MacBook to HDTV and Projector

I am very happy with this product. It is incredibly easy to use. I simply plugged the transmitter into my laptop and the receiver into my TV, and I was ready to go. I've had no issues with lag or buffering when I streamed Netflix. Highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to enhance their home entertainment.

First off, if your computer has Miracast and WiFi enabled by default, you DO NOT NEED THIS PRODUCT. Google it, but most modern laptops come with these features. It's possible you might need a receiver if your TV doesn't support Miracast, but your laptop needs nothing. Now, when you are trying to use this product to connect two devices that do not support Miracast or WiFi, it doesn't work at all. I eventually got it to work intermittently by using their janky software, but was really taken aback when the device said it needed my HOME WIFI PASSWORD to even use it.Let me be clear, for other devices that do the same thing, THIS IS NOT REQUIRED. This is a piece of tech made by a small Chinese company that wants access to your home WiFi internet. I do not know what their intentions are with that information, but it seems like far too great a risk to take.TL;DR This product is awful and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Also potentially a safety concern.

I was really impressed at how easy it was to setup this device.Actually setup doesn't even apply. All I did was to connect the receiver to the HDMI and USB ports on my TV, then plug the transmitter to the USB-C in my laptop, and in seconds, the image was being broadcast. No app or drive installation, no pairing, no cumbersome configuration. It just works!Also, no batteries or power sources. all power comes from the USB ports.CONS: The image is not quite as good as connecting with an HDMI cable. Colors are a bit warmer, and resolution is slightly lower, but not a dealbreaker.The device gets quite hot when running.

But I couldn't get this thing to work no matter what I did. I tried it on several different tvs with no luck. The concept is great but I've had better luck with my chromecast. The chromecast seems to work flawlessly and is easy to set up unlike this device. It was well packaged with all the necessary items included except for the instructions. Based on my experience I cannot recommend.

What was expected. Not had it long enough to know of durability and longevity.

This product allows me not to gaze at my small monitor but to have a big-screen-time with better experiences of TV shows! So nice!

I already had mirroring capability with my phone, however I wanted to be able to mirror the screen from a laptop. This works easily... on my newer laptop.Out of curiosity, I tried it with an older device (one not that apparently doesn't support DP alt mode). It didn't work; so I'm left with the impression that DP alt mode (and sorry, I don't know what that is) is crucial to this product functioning properly.

Didn’t work with iPhone 12 pro max or 13 pro max or Vizio tv so I sent it back.

Set up nxt easy, watched various YouTube videos but still not happy but had a go cos I need to link PC to TV as now bed bound.I'm not very techno savvy but after several hours of trying I've managed to see pc on tv. Next day couldn’t activate it again so spent more time then managed to somehow link it with WiFi but not tried it since so just hope that I'm able to set up, open and use it easier. Before techno savvy people ask, I did contact manufacturer website, followed set up procedure and even sent email for help but for a lay person this item is not as simple to set up as contained in videos, written instructions or any other information- if I had to buy any item to show PC on TV I would stick to tried & tested method of HDMI cable direct just thought it may be safer using wireless device- well it would have been if setup was simple!!

Este producto indica que no neccesitas instalar ninguna app, pues bien, he probado en el móvil (ya que no puedo en el ordenador porque el receptor es usb-c) y necesito una app para poder efectuar el mirror.Probaré en el ordenador y si necesito una app también, devolveré el producto.

Der EZCast ist für mich eine großer Erleichterung und eine Bereicherung beim Halten von Schulungen und Unterweisungen.Ich unterweise regelmäßig Gruppen von Beschäftigten in Firmen zu allen möglichen Themen des Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutzes.Dazu präsentiere ich über Power Point aus dem Office 365 Paket, wodurch mir die Morphing-Funktion zur Verfügung steht.D. h. dass die Folien meiner Vorführungen nicht nur statisch aufeinanderfolgen, sondern, dass sie sehr spannend und flüssig animiert sind.Mit solchen Transmittern zur drahtlosen Übertragung habe ich bereits viel Erfahrung gesammelt.In den allermeisten Fällen war ich selbst mit hochpreisigen Geräten überhaupt nicht zufrieden, da die Animationen häufig nur ruckelnd und zuckelnd abliefen.Deshalb macht mich der EZCast so glücklich, da mit ihm alles sehr geschmeidig läuft.Die Bildqualität ist für den Zweck der Unterweisung sehr gut.Natürlich gibt es Geräte, die in High End 8K Qualität auflösen sollen, aber das benötige ich nicht annähernd.Zudem kommen da dann auch wieder Preise zustande, die für meinen Einsatzzweck nicht abbildbar sind.Tonübertragung benötige ich nicht, da ich selbst der Ton bin :)Die Erstkonfiguration war etwas hakelig und hat mich ehrlicherweise etwas Nerven gekostet (wer gleich aufgibt hat schnell verloren).Aber nachdem es dann alles eingerichtet und problemlos reproduzierbar war, habe ich mich bemerkt, dass es zu diesem günstigen Preis nichts Besseres für mich gibt.Bei mir kommt der EZCast immer dann zum Einsatz, wenn in Betrieben bezüglich Präsentationsmöglichkeiten keine gute Infrastruktur vorhanden ist und ich meinen eigenen kleinen Beamer verwende.Das ist ein LED-Kurzstreckenbeamer und wie der Name schon sagt, steht der ziemlich dicht an der Präsentationsfläche.Mein Rechner kann durch den Einsatz des EZCast dabei ganz wo anders stehen. Da wo es eben Platz und Strom hat. Dabei sind 10 m Distanz überhaupt kein Problem. Einmal war mein Rechner sogar in einem benachbarten Büro gestanden und alles hat hervorragend funktioniert.Für meine Zwecke absolut super und unschlagbar.Preis- Leistung unfassbar gut!Ich bin begeistert und vergebe 5 Sterne mit gedachtem +++.
