I love the heck out of these bags. The 8”x12” is what I originally got which is a great overall size for a standard ribeye or nice chunk of fish. However, I have recently been getting into preparing smaller portions so they thaw out faster and I won’t have to eat as much. It also makes it so giving away fish is better because I have more pieces to give. I now cut the bags down in half so they are 8”x6” for the sashimi sized blocks pictured. These bags are very durable. Freezer stability is great in them. Plastic is strong and very transparent. Definitely worth every penny as I’ve purchased several brands for 2-3x the cost and they don’t come close to these. It’s nice how they are sized already scenery bag has that little notch so you can easily rip to open. Review: Awesome combo set - I love having multiple sizes and this set is perfect. These are clear so there was a no protection against light. I definitely use these with Cygwin absorbers and then put them in Mylar bags and keep in cool dry area. They are a great bang for your buck. Medium weight but when added to Mylar they do really well! **Q: Can use this vacuum bag for Nesco-v12 ?** A: I use a Food Saver and the bags are great. No problems. **Q: Can these be used in the ziploc sealer?** A: Yes. They can be used in any sealer. I have a Ziploc sealer and they work great **Q: the title says "bpa free," but I can't find that claim om the box. Are these bpa free?** A: It says BPA free on my box. Front of package, bottom left. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great size, great thickness, nice “pull to open” notches *by V***9 on September 9, 2026* I fish A LOT and process the fish at home. They are very sturdy & hold up well, the size is perfect for me, & I like the white area on each bag allowing one to write on them & easily read it later. I’ve purchased these several times now & had great success with them. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/344191201-wevac-8x12-vacuum-sealer-bags-for-food-200-precut-quart](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/344191201-wevac-8x12-vacuum-sealer-bags-for-food-200-precut-quart) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
