Excellent read.
The twists and turns made for a great read. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good puzzle to solve.

A compelling read that I couldn't put down! The main character, Philip Dryden, is well loved and known from other books in the series and feels like a family friend. The description of the area in the book is so good that even if you've never been to England you would be able to recognize local landmarks! The plot twists and turns and kept me guessing on where it would go next - can't wait to read the next book by Jim Kelly.

Great story...
...bad research. The author, Jim Kelly, worked as a local reporter same as Phillip Dryden, his reporter/detective in this series. In the stories, Dryden spends a fair amount of time doing research ensuring his reporting is accurate. So why, then, has the author constantly and consistently missed the mark on his depiction of operations at RAF Mildenhall (under US command) and the United States Air Force ("air force gray"??? seriously???). Having been married to a B-52 pilot for 30 years, and having been stationed at RAF Mildenhall, these little nit-noi details are driving me insane because they are so unnecessary; so easy to get right with just a couple of Google searches. As I wrote, the story is a great one. But if you know anything about Buffs, USAF pilots, and/or RAF Mildenhall, grit your teeth. BTW: Not every American aircraft is named "Star-something" (heavy sigh).

A darn good read.
A darn good read. I enjoyed it. There are one or two errors such as the two crew parachuting separately from a F 111 when in fact on this aircraft the whole cockpit section is ejected with the crew inside.Still ,just a small niggle and not enough to spoil the read.Jim’s style is different and refreshing. Good stuff Jim, keep up the good work.
