I received this item and purchased it because having bought a Shure microphone I wanted to be certain that the cable is compatioble with the microphone and allows it to be connected to my Mac. It is also one officially sanctioned by Shure. I needn't have bothered. All this is is a Chinese made generic USB-to-MicroUSB Cable. Available in many stores for a few quid and repackaged with a Shure identifying label and barcode stuck on the outer bag and a promo card that says its Shure - Legendary Performance. All that's extra about this Shure Cable is an increase the price. You're paying extra to be Shure!
